oh i completely agree. that's why i regret getting i'm not dead over amazon back in the day. sure, i got it a couple of days earlier than the release date, but it was such a lame experience.
i, too, prefer going to the local music store, get the copy of the record i want and then browse through some other CDs and vinyls in the shelves before going home and "experiencing" the album.
with rose ave. i pulled a triple threat tho: ordered the vinyl, ordered the digital album over amazon and on the 10th i'll go out and get the physical copy from the store
