Yesterday, X Factor drew its lowest ratings since 2004, and it was Strictly Come Dancing's lowest rated Friday episode ever
That's what the BBC & ITV get for pitting their biggest shows against each other
Her choices were about right really, unpopular opinion on here but I really like Jake his arena audition was particularly good, his voice isn't "quirky" but it isn't super generic either so I'm here for that. I liked the dude who sang Ain't Nobody too. The category isn't terrible but a lot of the guys are forgettable.
The over's are something else though, Ben Haenow is INCREDIBLE!
And I'm really rooting for Janet Grogan, I need her to do well!
Jay James continues being overrated for me.
And Raign's only really done her own song justice, everytime she covers a song it falls flat
Stevi Richie is a damn mess, you just know he's the Wagner this year
So sad that Kitten floundered on that though
Btw for non UK viewers here's Steph's Xtra segment from yesterday

Thats what they get for airing a show on a Friday, I'm glad it's only for two weeks though
I love Melanie, she goes right straight to business, I lost it when she said "But Simon's not gonna have to mentor you, I am." But she picked the dreadful Jordan Morris, what a waste. Danny and Geoff are gonna have a hard time proving their not forgettable as hell.
I felt really really bad for Charlie Brown. When these judges say "I know you bettah than that," he was the only one that could've lived up to that statement. Paul () and Andrea delivered as usual, Jake was kind of shaky, but hopefully they're Top 3.
Scarlet is boring as ****, hopefully she'll be swapped. I'm glad Simon did not give the girl who forgot the words a chance, she's too ordinary. Stevie is very entertaining, but I'm surprised no one has informed the poor fellow he's supposed to take this seriously. Raign was just screaming, she has no control over her average voice. "I'm here for the misfits" NEXT! Janet was fine, I wish they'd had shown her whole audition even if the bits we saw were meh
Ben Haenow gave me the chills. AGAIN! He's going to be really good in live shows, very confident performer and his voice sounds so much more solid than previous auditions. . Lizzy sounded awesome; she's kinda like Stephanie, they even slayed the same song. Jay James was perfect from beginning to end, I'm happy he's finally coming out of his shell. Way better vocals than last time too.
I've basically been waiting for Judges Houses so here we go. (BTW any 'spoilers' aren't 100%) My top 4 in no particular order are:
Jack murder me I'm not sure if he gets through but if he does he will get some of my votes
Steph: Why are the producers ****ing her over so badly she EASILY had the best bootcamp but it was montaged. I've heard she's in the live shows but as the least favoured girl but maybe her unique talent can shine through in the lives
Only The Young: They're kinda brilliant but they either don't get through or they get turned into Steps a la Kingsland Road. Poor them
Raign: She is the Queen, she's like me with her lack of humility. I don't think she even survives the 6 Seat challenge but oh well
As a sidenote, I despise Jay James and his army of Matt Cardle impersonators and Stevi
