Neither is iconic. But DrIL is more revered. It's quoted more. It was only released as a single in the US, so asking which one was a hit WW is a bit bias. At least compare Applause to XO. It was the first single and it was released WW.
DrIL had more impact WW then Applause tho. Which is incredible seeing as how it wasn't released WW.
