Applause was bigger hit.
Neither are iconic, tho I can understand why some people might say DiL is more memorable etc. ( I mean all the hype alone)
But don't act like Applause was not talked about, there were many, many vines just as much as DiL had etc. Maybe because of Beyonce's hype, you may think DiL was bigger, understandable.
