The extended trailer is so beyond words I think it's probably the best trailer/teaser they've ever done. The song choice and audio editing is flawless and visually... well obviously it's amazing. The reveal of Bette and Dot was perfectly done.
The more I watch the previous seasons, the more I appreciate Lily Rabe's acting. I feel like she's the best actress in the show, miles better than Taissa (but so is everyone on the show, really), quite a bit better than Sarah, and possibly even giving Frances & Jessica a run for their money.
Could it also be Bette (or Dot) stabbing the other that was mentioned? That could be an awesome opener and then after she gets released Elsa offers her a position at the freak show?

The opening is likely to be set in 2014, since that's how they've worked. Modern pieces have historical openings, and vice versa.
