I understand if the dancers preferred Katy over Taylor. No beef on that. I also think Katy probably is a really nice person. But it is unprofessional to leave an artist's tour mid-way when you've been contractually obliged or hired to go the duration of a tour. If I was hiring someone in the future and I was aware that they had a tendency to do something like that, I probably wouldn't hire him/her because I would question how dependable he/she is.
On the one hand if the dancers like Katy more it's their right to go to her, but on the other, u know they are on tour with someone else so u should look for someone else...

Taylor's always likes making herself the victim tbh. One of the reasons I don't like her.
I don't really see how taking a couple of Taylor's dancers was Katy undermining "her entire tour" though. Especially if they were happy to go, because they weren't being properly utilised

Not if they were contracted which is typical for dancers on arena tours. Of course it isn't illegal and contracts can be broken, but it doesn't mean there isn't an element of unprofessionalism. A lot of people would think twice of hiring someone in the future if they knew the dancers had a tendency to jump ship mid-tour.
People need to stop acting like the word of a single back up dancer explains every in and out of the situation which obviously is more complicated than that.
I'm kind of surprised the dancers weren't contracted for the length of the tour. Seems like a fairly massive oversight.

@swissman: That's why we know the dancers went to management to discuss their contract. You can't just up and leave without any sort of confrontation during a tour.
Why are y'all blaming Katy? All she did was ASK them to join. It was their decision; they could've said no, but they didn't. They had a much closer bond with Katy, and had more to do with Katy. Like he said, he was bored with Taylor. And I'm sure the dancers gave Taylor some kind of notice. I don't think they just "disappeared".
