Retro, get back into Bad Romance.
The demo release was such an event, because it was so weird and unlike anything
from The Fame. Like, why the **** is she chanting this nonsense? I was instantly
dragged in and it eventually came to be the greatest pop song of the century.

All the tragic French performances of Applause by contestants last year.

Nah, I mean it's not EDM in the way that her voice is crazy edited. Like HML would be a hard song to cover. But most of her songs are easy to sing live because she definitely sings them live well herself.

I do wish she'd kept certain elements of the demo in the final. Like the part right after the first line of the chorus; I wish that wasn't replaced with a snippet of the end of the chorus.

A lot of people proclaim no one remembers Gaga's music, it's her outfits and antics that overshadow everything, but a lot of what is iconic about pop artists is their image, visuals and symbolism. I mean, MJ's red thriller jacket and gloves, Britney's catholic school girl outfit, Madonna's gone bra and high blonde ponytail, etc... fashion does hold a lot of significant in becoming iconic and referenced, in turn it can help the song / music video it's connected to be remembered.
The Fame's platinum blonde bangs and glasses will forever be Gaga's signature look. I mean, I saw Halloween costumes last year titled "pop superstar" and it was a complete rip off of this look, six years later.

I remember back before I was a fan, during our gala for the theater troupe at my school, the president of the high school theater department went up and he performed Bad Romance and put in the Paparazzi blood scene into the ending.
He claimed he was straight too.

I remember hearing Bad Romance for the first time and I was not ready at all because I started stanning during The Fame era and this was just so different and weird. I hated it for a while then I fell in love with it when the video came out

I kind of really want to crossdress and pull off a meat-dress ripoff for Halloween this year, not gonna lie

I really loved the "oh's" after each line of the chorus. I don't miss them much, though.

Yeah, despite the meat dress, I will say that the platinum blonde wig + bangs + hairbow is definitely the most remembered event in fashion from a pop star in the past two decades.
I remember because just before Gags came out, NO ONE had bangs (or style either ngl) and then all of a sudden, almost every girl got bangs. It's kinda not talked about enough here (but most of The Fame era Gaga is really underrated in this base and site - aside from SYG).

Be bold and try a meat suit, complete with a meat hat and wallet.

I LOVE them. Would have loved to have them in the final with the rest of the final remaining as-is.

I'd argue against that; for obvious reasons the meat dress inspired less direct looks, but the platinum blonde and bangs she pulled was so pervasive by virtue of its status as a general look. As a one-time look, the meat dress remains her most legendary and that will always remain so; it can't be compared to general looks that are derivative of Gaga because it only happened for one night.

Most people want "The Fame Monster" Gaga back. Most monsters don't even like The Fame aside from the singles, it's like her target audience made a huge shift after TFM.

Pretty much. I mean, it had what is tied for her best music in my opinion and what is her best in most opinions, it had the most concise and appealing image, it held her greatest periods of attention and success (Telephone vid, Alejandro vid, VMA 2010, and her general chart & tour slayage in 2010). Those were kind of like the "glory days" to many Monsters.

Maybe so but Fame Gaga is far from underrated in this base. You can't even go a day without that nick guy posting a performance from 2008 and crying about how she's not the same person anymore and Optimus posting about how amazing Poker Face is and how RedOne is the second coming of Jesus and all (not that that isn't true ).
