PollStar is reliable. Check Bey's OTR PollStar numbers that were published before Billboard and it's the exact same.

Well, in Madonna's case: they want her back and she's built up a 20-year demand. Anything that Madonna will do in Australia at this point will be completely sold out.

In other cases with pop stars that are below her starpower, it's much more risky and cargo-ing the entire production is so expensive that putting on the show might not turn a profit in the end.

This is kind of true. For some is lucrative though. See Pink, Katy Perry.
But the fact that BTWB grossed 32,046 / 32,046 $3,696,277, shows that 11k, equaled 1 million dollars in that tour, compared to 6k, which is half the audience. So, it doesn't makes sense. Where the prices double higher in this last tour??? If true, that's a wrong move by her team.

A lot of artists don't come to Australia because it costs a lot to bring the tour there, which is why i said these numbers are not good for Australia. I'm sure they expected a lot better.

No tickets were given away for the US leg, just some GA for the 2nd Sydney (Australia) show. That particular venue in Stateline was very small (the smallest of the US leg) and had high prices, so the boxscore seems correct.

Perth was the worst-selling show of the Australian leg, but I expected at least like 7-8K. This is tragic, next era she should do some TV promo for the album campaign or she won't even be allowed to book dates there. At least the first shows in Sydney and Melbourne sold well.
