It's worth remembering too that whilst she's very involved with C2C now, it probably hasn't been that creatively distracting or time consuming for her considering it's almost entirely covers. This means it's entirely possible that #5 is reasonably far along already.
All this chat about acoustic albums, rock albums, ACT II etc. would imply that she perhaps HASN'T progressed a cohesive, definitive #5 move...but then again, how she handled C2C in a post-BEYONCE industry makes me think she will be playing this much closer to the chest. So I'm not worried that we haven't yet heard much/anything.
I'd agree with you that Spring/Early Summer is probably on the cards. And not just wishful thinking.
