iHype may say a lot of nonsensical things (no offense bby <33333) but it is true that R&B music doesn't perform well outside of the US.
But luckily some acts can fall back on touring (say heeeeeyyyy mrs. carter)! Usher can do that, right iHype???????????
Currently. R&B and AC balladry was the most mainstream and commercially successful genre of the 90s. Dance pop was the niche/''local'' genre then. So much so that dance pop figureheads like Molester and Madead had to do torch songs to get hits on the radio. Music trends always change.
Oh well. I guess as long as he's not cheating off of other students papers and being a ghetto ass, hoodrat mess whilst abusing teachers verbally and physically its alright
