I don't remember acne, moving hair, cleaning skill ,comfort need, environmental need, social bunny etc being in The Sims 3. Things that I believe were added to the list to cause hysteria. As for many of the other things on the list, they were distributed in The Sims 3 through the 11 expansion packs and 9 stuff packs over the past 6 years. This is The Sims 4 base game.

- No acne not in TS3
- No aliens not in TS3 up until Seasons EP
- No animated hair never in the game. It was dynamic in TS2 though
- No aspiration failures so ****ing annoying in TS2
- No babysitters useless. the baby ages up in 1 day anyway
- No bartender (as NPC) pretty sure I saw one during LPs
- No basements not in TS1, TS2 and TS3 up until Ambitions EP
- No bookstores It was a rabbithole anyway
- No burglars meh
- No cars (not even as décor) we don't even need them the way the worlds work in this game
- No cemeteries duh, there's no ghosts so...
- No cutscenes not in TS3
- No cleaning skill there's 2395234 other new skills (and for the 1st time for children too)
- No clothes shopping never in TS3
- No color wheel, predefined to ~20 colors ok THAT is a real missing feature
- No comfort need not needed
- No curfew annoying
- No customization of multi-tone hair color (users select only main color) another real missing feature
- No dinner proposals not even confirmed (was that even in TS3?)
- No diseases or illness not in TS3
- No dreams wtf, there were never 'dreams' in a Sims game
- No environment need annoying as ****
- No eyelash length slider minor missing feature, can live without it
- No favorites (food, color, music) useless
- No fears not in TS3, useless without the wishes from TS2
- No full face make-up who the **** uses that anyway?
- No garage doors duh, useless without cars
- No gardener for hire there is a ****ing gardener in game that's confirmed
- No ghosts okay, that is another missing feature
- No grocery stores rabbithole
- No male body hair not in any Sims base game

- No newspapers ****ing annoying
- No opacity slider for makeup never in a Sims base game
- No party invitations from other Sims does that really bother anyone?
- No private school not even confirmed (and what's the difference if your Sims disappear during school anyway?)
- No rabbit holes at all - Sims move offscreen for work and school. There are no hospitals, work/school buildings…etc. ****ING USELESS. I'd rather have my Sims disappear than have all these USELESS lots clogging up my neighbourhood. You don't see your Sims anyway so what's the ****ing use
- No random or accidental deaths they reduced random deaths, but they ARE in the game
- No repairman you can replace any broken item or fix it on your own
- No repo man not needed, electricity and water is cut when not paying bills
- No restaurants not in TS1, TS2 base games, rabbitholes in TS3
- No skin slider there's enough pre-made colors in TS4 tbh, still a downgrade tho
- No swimming/swimwear - Including lakes, fountains, etc. There IS lakes and fountains
- No tragic clown or social bunny not in TS3
- No way to watch a Sim commute to work/school never happened in ANY Sims game
- No website for browsing exchange or store not needed, the Gallery is integrated into the game
- No zodiac signs not in TS3 basegame, useless in the other Sims games
So basically 95% of this list is a ****ing load of crap. Half of that stuff wasn't even in past games, hell, some weren't even in ANY Sims game.

Mess! I will definitly NOT buy this game! Theres nothing fun left in this game, the gameplay will be extremely boring and get old fast.
Sticking to the superior game, The Sims 3.

I want to hold out hope but this really feels like Simcity all over again. I held out hope for that and got burned so bad.
I'm definitely going to wait a few months before I even consider buying it.

MTE. I can't believe people actually get bothered by all this useless stuff that got removed (and it's not even that much). I'll give them open worlds, CASt, toddlers and pools but the rest... 
Plus I could easily compile a list of "missing features" from TS3 from past games like this one and I guarantee you it would be TEN times bigger.

It's a base game. You can't compare it with TS2/TS3 which both had around 10 expansions and numerous patches

Definitely not getting this. The sims look ****, I was expecting some Avatar-graphic realness for this game and now they look like they're made out of Play-Doh. Utterly dissappointed.
