The wait for BTW was actually great. NOBTR leaking in October, the album of the decade overhyping, the Scheisse remix ( ), BTW lyrics,cover, then the release followed by the unbelievable slayage of BTW, the gagavisions, the trolls on Ladygaga.com forums etc. Everything was fine until the week after Easter when Judas started dropping.
The wait for ARTPOP ( except for the Music Gaga Station incident) on the other hand was a complete mess marked by false hope, frustration after
it wasnt released in August 2012 like we hoped, then the Hip-Break and the uncertanity over the release date etc.
You're right though. After the FM era the wait has been the best time we've gone through

I was active there during the Pre-Btw era. The trolls "flopga" and "LONGISLANDKIDz" were the pits.

She WAS going to, and she admitted it. It's not my fault she cancelled. How the hell was I suppose to know she would cancel @ the last minute?

If it was going to happen it would have happened well before that, there would be no reason for it to be scheduled 9 months after the apps initial release only to cancel it weeks before hand

The app had been dead for months and she hadn't spoke about it since probably the week of the album release, she parted with troy in what? novemeber/december? thats when any chance of new music being uploaded to the app parted too

ARTPOP may not be her best but it's all right because it really needed to happen. Gaga and everyone around her (including her monsters) seemed too sure that she was the best artist (on the charts and in terms of creativity) on all accounts. ARTPOP was a great way to knock us back to earth, and I hope it did the same for her. ARTPOP era also helped Gaga shed some dead weight from her former management, which may help created a cohesive era for the first time since 2010. I hope Gaga did well to listen to constructive criticism, because ARTPOP isn't the best extension of Gaga's musical abilities in any way, shape, or form.

Extremely boring because it wasn't hugely active during TF, I just went on for news
I lurked during the start of TFM and it was a bit more active but it still wasn't that exciting. I became a Twitter monster in like December 2009 and I stayed a twitter monster until the Marry The Night era, when I started joining forums

I still think Lady Gaga is by far the best pop star out there at the moment. With or without ARTPOP. I wasnt knocked back to earth, I never left the earth. ARTPOP is a pop album, this is a pop music and it's all about liking it or not. It's really not that complicated.

Well that's good. I know the Roar to Applause period was rough as many stans thought Gaga was going to blow Katy out of the water. I have to admit, I kinda thought so too. I love that ARTPOP showed people Gaga cannot be on top all the time, creatively or commercially. I at least hope that for her next record she really commands control over her abilities. I want to say that she is the best pop artist, but after listening to so many new pop records and watching them create masterpieces I just don't know. Gaga is better than most of her commercial peers, but she hasn't really showed it lately. Hoping she walks the walk again!
