The album was huge because of the excessive promo and the hype (Gaga calling it album of the decade and such) It is a HUGE step down from TFM and when it was released, most were disappointed which is why it got 80% decrease in sales the following week  It still sold consistently because of all the promo and positive media attention. BTW is a huge success and that's why it won awards. End of story

I have to agree. The album has some good music on it, but it was in fact a huge step down for me after TFM.
