Applause & DWUW were better than 80% of Born This Way's singles (only TEOG was better). I'm still shocked as to why they underperformed. Especially DWUW. It should have been the lead single & R. Kelly should have been replaced with Chris Brown.

Sis, I usually agree with most of the stuff you say but I'll never get your hate for ARTPOP. It's just a fun album and I bop all the time (it's much better when you listen to it after not listening for a while)

No shade but Born This Way won Album of the Year at the Japanese Grammys (in both the western music and regular categories) so it is kinda deserving of a high score (if we are using the standard; Black Jesus Amen Fashion brings it down to an 8 if we use that version).

I'm aware of the song. But you claim to know what's great for Gaga, only to suggest something that would make her public image look much worse. Also, Chris's voice is far inferior to R Kelly's. Case closed.

Born This way was only successful because it was riding off the coattails off TFM, she could have released anything and it would have been just as successful. The album was huge because of the excessive promo and the hype (Gaga calling it album of the decade and such) It is a HUGE step down from TFM and when it was released, most were disappointed which is why it got 80% decrease in sales the following week It still sold consistently because of all the promo and positive media attention. BTW is a huge success and that's why it won awards. End of story
