We have been talking about this for a while in the Bartender thread (evan93 knows the tea). Big Machine and Tim McGraw even called in to get radio stations to rotate MBAM more last week. Bartender was clearly a strong contender for the top spot of country radio (as it has been at the top of the canada country charts for 2 (maybe 3) weeks. but 1. Dierks Bentley is with Capitol nashville (...i think) 2. Capitol probably let Tim get a chance at the #1 spot for the bragging rights to have a #1 country song. So the whole falling thing for Bartender was just a cover for getting Tim to the top spot.

Now this week its game on and Bartender is scalping that #1 and not letting other labels get ahead to attempt to get the #1 song in the country (radio) this week!

As pointed out by Zune some posts earlier, Big Machine pushed Tim McGraw last week to get a #1 on Mediabase or Billboard Country but even with a 800+ Bullet they failed Today Lady A jumps a spot to claim their 9th #1 hit
