Okay, to recap:
- Break Free sold about 120,000 last week, but it's missing from the top 10.
- Usually this happens because of Complete My Album. People complete the album on iTunes and single sales are converted into album sales.
- If it's not a silly BB error, then we suspect that CMA is already taking place
before release week, as My Everything wasn't out yet last week.
- And that would mean that when you pre-order an album and instantly get the single, that it doesn't count anymore as a single sale.
- So people who pre-ordered My Everything and already owned Break Free had that single sale converted,
before release week.
- If true, then this is a change that happened last week, because Best Mistake (Ariana's previous instant grat the week before) debuted normally on Digital Songs.
We'll know more when we get the Hot 100 article and the full Digital Songs list.
