I really don't think it will be that steep to be honest. Just her audience may take a steep drop. I guess we will see tomorrow though. Do we know what her second update was on pop last week?
Her first full day of airplay last week gave Taylor a gain of about 20 million impressions, so she entered last Wednesday with around 29 million impressions. I cannot see Taylor falling back below 75-80 million, and I would say the higher of that end with the VMAs just behind us.
Does this mean she clocked Mariah's first week peak of 12?
She tied Mariah's debut; but Mariah had "bubbled" under the week before she came in at #12 in 1993, where as Swift's debut is an actual first week ranking.
So what's a realistic rolling effect for Taylor tomorrow?
She has around 93 million impressions now, I think she will finish the day with 75 to 80 million impressions, and with the VMAs just two days ago probably closer to 80 million.
Nope because her first full day of airplay was on its second day, so the full negative rolling effect is one week later, on its 9th day, since the 8th day spins were still an increase over the 1st day spins.
