Mhm. I really see nobody jamming to "we could, we could belong together ARTPOP", "love me love me please retweet" and all those weird lyrics. If she wants to be commercial again, she needs to release stuff people will actually recognize and want to sing. But if she doesn't want to be commercial again, I'd be fine with her releasing the same type of music I guess. To me it does seem like she wants to appeal to the masses, though.

Since BTW, people associate her with gay. You like her music = you're gay. You have no idea how many times I've been asked by girls if I were gay cause 'gaga fans are generally gays'. It's just not cool anymore to listen to her if you're not gay. But it wasn't the song, it was the era on its own. The message, the interviews. Everything was about gay people.
I'm actually surprised that Applause sold that much in the US (2.5M). And how well DWUW was received in Europe. The R'n'B vibe probably helped the song a lot. Pretty sure if she serves some good music, the situation could change
