Why do I have a horrible feeling that TMZ are waiting for critics to praise Cheek to Cheek to the high heavens to leak the DWUW video?

That's a really good point ivi, tbh she did have something planned for Venus and then all that went down the drain

The O2 ad is more suited to Venus and the fact she had a video planned with Ruth Hogben

Doubt they'll do it, they'd be facing a heavy lawsuit from Interscope

If they were to leak it. They'd pass it on to someone who'd they pay in return for compensation so that they don't get directly sued and tarnish their name.

Highly doubt it. They should have leaked it back then or never. Guess they got scared.

Urgh, let's not even talk about Venus / DWUW......She must be so hurt by it. They choose Venus and then drop it the second DWUW is no.1 on iTunes. At least we would have gotten a video and if it flopped we would have gotten a 3rd single quickly with a video pushed from the record company.

Well well well.....let's hope the next era is better planned. It's just frustrating to wait for another year or two now. I don't even know if she has really started on the new pop album.

Exactly. And even if Interscope/Gaga/Troy/Terry found a loophole in some way to sue TMZ directly, they have enough money to accept any lawsuit. They make a **** ton.

Which brings us back to the main focal point of the DWUW video. Gaga seems to have regretted the main idea of the video. Stating that the world wasn't ready for its message of rape. Do you think Troy actually thought it was a good idea to release the video? I mean surely it could have damaged her.

Troy was gone at that point, no? Not totally sure. She shot the video in first week of November or something. When did he go?

Troy left on Nov 4th (that's when reports about it came through), I dunno when Gaga started filming the video though

She was shooting it in November and they had already started shooting it before Nov 6th. So it's possible they were making final arrangements to can him. So it probably wasn't the video that was the final straw, but I'm sure it added some kind of fuel to the fire as far as what to do.

Blah...even with proper execution, ARTPOP wasn't going to happen for Gaga and team. This experience was an essential learning experience! Maybe for Gaga's next project she'll know how to craft a better album (trim the fat, have consistency, good lyrics, etc) and have a fantastic team behind her.
