THE PHOTOSHOP GAME - THE AMAZING WINNER


First of all, thank you to all the contestants who participated in this game. Without you guys this game wouldn't even have started. I only wished that a lot of people wouldn't have just dropped out without submitting anything.
I'm happy that there were people who enjoyed the game and liked participating. In the OP I said that my goal was to have pretty edits after each round and I really think that we reached that goal.

Before I announce the winner, I want to applaud you guys. Y'all are amazing.


Let's not forget the special price. The winner will get the rights to host season 2.

She looks more angry than disappointed. The gif does fit the expectations I set though. When I saw the BW video for the first time, I thought 'hmmm Element or Phoenix should make that the gif for the game'. And you did. The gif itself is actually made pretty good.

Literally perfect. It looks very professionally made. I love how you placed the circles and the bottle. The colors look rich and elegant and work perfectly with the bottle. I wanna know how it smells.

Almost perfect, the color scheme and picture you used work out really well. Most importantly it looks like a real billboard, which is the goal. However this is pretty generic, but in the long run it works out. It really conveys a message.

The picture of Nicole is SO well done. Like literally perfect. It looks professionally done. However your font game is weak. Very weak. And there isn't really much to read or see other than that photo. But it still slays me so hard. You go!

looks great, the brush/texture you used matches really well with the background, would've enlargened the perfume bottle to sell it more. not feeling the slanted text in this one

overall, the concept you were going for is present and while it looks nice, the design of it doesn't really look nice as a magazine cover. definitely change the fonts, fill in the empty spaces, the placements of the texts, don't try to fit an entire phrase in one long line, and maybe use a different barcode sis

Okay, let me take a moment to reflect on this game.

When I signed up for this game, I was hoping to make it to the top 4 or 5, but I really didn't think I would win. The first round, with the banners, I did a fair job. But some of the banners were at a different level, and I was kind of in the middle of the pack. So, I made sure to work harder and harder. The second round, I was actually in the bottom half of the scores, and slowly but surely, I guess I rose my way to the top. A dark horse tea. *insert Katy awkward bopping dance GIF*

I am so happy that I won! I would like to thank Nnmmo for hosting this amazing game. It was such a great test of my graphic design skills, and I definitely feel like I have improved throughout the competition. Thank you to each and every one of the judges for taking the time to look at our entries, comment, and score them. You guys have offered some great insight into how I can get better!

To all of the contestants, you guys were an awesome bunch! I am very happy to have competed against you. To my runner-up, Phoenix: you are amazing at photoshop! I hope that you continue to do graphics, and if you ever want to share a design with me, PM me or write on my wall! Also, please remind me to tell you about my PRISM cover technique. I need to take a look at that PSD and see what I did exactly

The past half a year, I had kind of put graphics on a hiatus (design for fun that is), because I had been doing so much design work for my job. I was getting a little bored with Photoshop, and combined with school sucking up my time, I really didn't have any desire to do design work for fun. This game definitely revitalized my desire to do that, and I am so happy that I challenged myself throughout the competition!

This is my second ATRL Games section victory, after Last Member Standing, and I am so excited! Technically, it's my first tournament win, so hooray!

This game was so much fun, and I really wish that it had been more popular! I am hoping that season two will be just as successful, and hopefully even moreso. I am debating about doing a second season of Let's Spoon before I start the second season of The Photoshop Game. However, with school starting, I might just do Photoshop first, and spoon later. I'm not sure yet, but I can't wait to host the second season! It will be a blast. I want to see some of this season's judges get their hands in the competition!
