Oh please. Most of you claim the Grammys lost credibility, but you all use them as receipts when there's a fan war or when your faves win one the "no credibility" factor goes out the window.
The Grammys have always been shady to me. Look at how they snubbed people like Madonna or Queen for example But you can bet that if my fave won another one I wouldn't wait to use it as receipts
ive never cared that much about awards, so there isnt a particular moment where they 'lost credibility' because theyve never held much weight or effected my personal taste
but anyone who says that grammys dont represent respect in the industry and arent the most important awards an artist can recieve is lying. they arent a reflection of quality, which is whats most important to fans, but theyre a pretty accurate indicator of status. dont be mad because your faves aint got it
When the documented proof that Chris Brown bought a Grammy leaked and it became clear it's all about who you are and not your calibre of work to the Grammy Academy
