I like the music Gaga's opening act (the hologram) performed during artRAVE. I'm hoping that's the direction she goes. That was what I was expecting for ARTPOP. She probably has songs similar too
We already have evidence of Aura, Applause and Donatella (and possibly DWUW) instrumentals existing before she had fully fleshed out the songwriting. You can instantly tell the whole thing's inorganic, as opposed to sings like Poker Face, Paparazzi, Eh Eh, Bad Romance and Telephone which translated so well acoustically.
That's the production, we're talking about the songwriting. She said that Zedd's work was the first time she sat down and wrote over the production as opposed to writing and then producing a beat for that song specifically. Everything else on ARTPOP apart from Zedd's work (and MJH) was done the way she always does things.
Besides, there is barely any difference between the two. She is still writing the songs and is still tweaking production to make it work.
Do What U Want, Gypsy, and Applause all translate well acoustically. She can make any song sound good on a piano because, well, she's a pianist.

I love that she's the one who designed the set. Set designing chanteuse.
I really, really hope the new album fits my taste tbh. I mean, ARTPOP kinda did...Kinda...And now Cheek To Cheek, I don't like but I'll still be around to support her cause I know she probably won't make this music forever. I need a hot pop album from her, preferably next year
UK iTunes has a promotion: hit songs for 59p, and guess what I found there
Rise MTN, rise! This is your time to shine!
LOL. Anyone remember when it was Do What U Want's era and I can't remember if it was KIIS or the other station, but they put Applause on power rotation and ignore DWUW and they even play Marry The Night instead?
