She's already working on new projects and no one is satisfied. "No Jazz is boring", "I will revoke my stan card if she did ballads or acoustics", "Classic rock is not my taste", "Go back to RedOne", "No, don't go back to ReDone". She will never be able to satisfy everyone.

That's exactly the point I was making. She can literally make whatever the hell she wants, still be successful, and make a ton more money from touring (and from a new perfume). We don't have to be a fan of everything she wants to do. This isn't a Cyndi Lauper case (who btw had a great career and is one shot away from being EGOT).

She'll obviously never get back the popularity she had during TFM. No pop star will ever come that close to practically owning the whole world like Gaga did. That's why it seems like such a massive decline. What she has done in her short 6 years as a pop star is undoubtedly iconic. She will be remembered as one of the greats. You can't just make all that impact and disappear. She might not ever be on top again but she can easily have a huge comeback

Why does a popstar have to be on top, though? What's wrong with just being successful, why does it have to be THE BEST EVER? Like, she is never going to match her peak. She peaked with her first album success-wise and that's not going to be topped considering the album market nowadays. Get over this "she needs to be on top" mentality, because she doesn't. I never said she HAD to be on top. But like anybody who supports her as a fan you would like to see her comeback.

E-X-AC-T-L-Y! Fans don't get that her decline seems so big because she was so big. The decline was inevitable and even Britney Spears began to decline at the same time. No one stays at the top forever.
