i'm really excited for the album but it feels like it's so far away ;w; i like shake it off (so far but i usually need to hear a song a few times on the radio before i form an opinion on it) but i hope it's not the only type of sound on the album. my favorite part of taylor's music is how well she expresses emotions, so i'd be really disappointed if she didn't get into her feelings somewhere on the album
Was anybody actually expecting the lead single to be country after she released three MM tracks as singles one right after the other in RED while paying country dust?

Technically all of Taylor's songs are about memories, but titling the new album 1989, the year she was born, means much more memories, I think it also means more diversity. Songs about family on new album are my first reaction.
