The thing is, even though this season has been pretty terrible (not as bad as last season), it's generally always been ~this bad. I don't even know why I watch it.
The first two seasons were pretty good because it was intentionally quirky, bad and campy. Serving a Buffy-teas you see. And last season at least revelled in its stupidity and didn't take itself too seriously unlike this one!

I suppose. I think the probblem is that it all became too serious but also too self-referential too.
Maryann was pretty epic.
Okay, Jill Garvey annoys the **** out of me, but I still think that the worst episodes have only been meh. Nothing's been TERRIBLE so far.
The Leftovers really is the most inconsistent show ever. Some episodes are amazing (last night's), some are just mehhhhhhh.
The Leftovers reminds me of ARTPOP, the first episode would be like ''Aura'', we liked what we had heard but what we got to see at the end was a little disappointing
Last night's episode was something like Do What U Want (Xtina Remix)
I literally liked every season so far in some way or another(Season 2 being the best by far im) but this season is just unbearable
Literally every episode used to end with a cliffhanger that made you die for the next episode but this season is the biggest snoozefest ever.
