Radio airplay is tracked by the most recent seven days. When a song debuts, it has seven days until of updates until it reaches the 8th day when rolling begins. The 8th day's update replaces the first day's update. It effects both spins and audience impressions.
A simple example:
Day 1: DEBUT (+5 spins)
Day 2: 10 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 3: 15 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 4: 20 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 5: 25 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 6: 30 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 7: 35 spins total (+5 spins)
Day 8: 33 spins total (+3 spins)
And then day 9 replaces day 2's update and so on.
I just used consistent spin updates of 5 and then a random number (here, 3) to show you the difference it can make. In reality, most radio updates are way larger and differ day to day. Songs can also get negative spins.
If I'm wrong in anyway, someone point out my error(s) lmfao.
This is low key hilarious though. James franco is corny funny but I still laughed at the end of Jason and Iggy's segments...Nicki and ha nasally register betta show Franco who's boss...with anaconda playing in the background
