Considering how big she was at the time, I can't believe TFM era only lasted 9 months They could've released Monster in August and still kept the BTW schedule the same. The hype leading into BTW's single release would've been even bigger than it already was. I really don't understand their reasoning behind the gap between Alejandro and BTW.
The team behind her singles and such has always been a mess it seems.
I always thought it was odd that for BTW album being her most diverse, experimental, and whatnot, they chose standard and conventional songs for radio. They could have used her influence and presence at the time to really make a shift in radio if they wanted. Oh wellz.

Choruses used to be her forté but now seems like she has lost that ability...
The ARTPOP choruses are some of her best. I think the only real problem with ARTPOP is the production (welp DJWS). Some of it sounds very...sterile? Idk how to describe it but it sounds like she dumbed it down or something. The songs are all really creative otherwise (imo).
And let's not even get into the pre-choruses on Applause and DWUW. Easily some of her best stuff.
I have a feeling they hated her more after Judas tho.
Nja, not really, Judas was big in the countries where it got promoted. It's just that US radios all of a sudden decided to not support the song.
TEOG also did well despite the lack of video.
I think her ugly, repulsive and dark looks in her music videos damaged her image the most. I mean why else would Judas, the only video where she looked good, have 190M views ?
And she didn't do anything to help. I imagine with great singles and a great consistent image BTW would have been more meaningful. It's meaningful to me that so I guess that's all at matters
