That forgotten anthem of subservience released as Beyoncé was already one foot out the door doesn't define anything about Destiny's Child—not its sound, not its legacy and certainly not its image, which was one of female empowerment.

The song isn't submissive at all, it's about
wanting to make your man happy. Female empowerment was great but it's nice seeing a softer, love-struck side of the girls. Lyrics aside, the vocals were spread out nicely and the composition is beautiful; some of the best production in their entire catalog. Songs that are truly forgotten and left little impact on the music industry outside the release year, like Jumpin' Jumpin', should not be charting higher than this classic.
