I was saying she was going to release in November from the beginning. I think that was the main reason she was holding on and still is holding on to the release date as she knows the "that's so far away" complaints would follow.

November will be here before we know it. We're already halfway through August.

We know. But the 8th day is the only day when it actually matters pointing out. The other days are just regular stuff. Having a negative update is normal on the 8th day because suddenly the points don't accumulate anymore, on the other days it means the song is declining.

Well the point is : if a song gets huge updates all week, its updates will be affected by this in the following week (this does not mean they'll be negative, but probably less big).

Last Saturday's update:

I'm not saying the song having smaller updates means it's declining, I'm saying negative updates mean the song is declining. But the 8th day is different because songs get a lot of airplay on their first day. But none of this even matters because the song is actually having consistent updates. The original point of this discussion is, you can't blame the song having small AI updates on the rolling effect when it could easily have bigger ones. It's not like the song suddenly had a lot of AI 8 days ago. It just means smaller stations are playing it because the spins increase is big.

True. Yeah, that's where the most dramatic decrease occurs before leveling out the remainder days.

This is true as in a certain week it gets gains and then the following week in comparison the change is noticeable; however, being closer to the 8th day rolling effect conversation makes more sense as we haven't even gotten to the point of 2nd winds later on in the chart talk.
