Presumably she'll continue this Lady by day, Gaga by night approach whilst she promotes C2C and creates her next project. The question for me is whether she IS going to release the stripped back (Rick Rubin produced?) record...or if she'll skip that to a rock/pop record...or if they'll combine?
Regardless, I think this edgy, dark Gaga is what the doctor ordered. That's genuine creative rebellion, not trolling with ugly looks whilst releasing dance/pop. I know stans panic that she'll alienate the "GP", but she can still release great pop/rock songs...and who knows - maybe she'll win over more rock/metal fans to support her, maybe it'll be more appealing to the middle aged crowd who bought C2C, maybe it'll get her back in with the Tumblr/alternative kids?
Imagine if she released a TEOG type song with pop/rock production instead of synths? I think it'd hit the spot. Very Gaga yet fresh, and appropriate for radio yet different.

Yeah, this is one time in my experience as a Gaga fan where I actually don't know what's going to happen next (after Cheek to Cheek). The way she's spoken about different things and genres and projects seems so conflicting, and she's changing her mind every few days.
At the end of the day, We'll probably have an announcement about the next project in May and single in June for the space performance. Hopefully. Maybe.

Yeah.... I just don't like what she's become. Like, I get it, you love your fans and you care about them. But do the things that you love, not what you think your fans might love. (In this case: ARTPOP, which's a downgrade compared to TFM and BTW, really) She cares about her fans so much like... I miss the fierce Gaga, the one who wasn't serious about everything. Hell, the whole world thought she was a man for like a year, yet she joked about it in interviews and music videos (Telephone) instead of melting down on LM.com. (Like she did months ago) TFM Gaga was honestly the best pop star I've ever witnessed. It wasn't just her, it was everything about her, the music, the (professional) videos, the performances, the mystery (I know she couldn't be mysterious forever, but what about the other things?).
I'd honestly like to know why doesn't she work with professionals anymore? Why doesn't she work with producers who know what they do? She's become really complicated.
I still stan for the good sis, and I'll always do, so yeah.
