It was an easy decision for Lana to release a BTD 2.0, just like it was for Gaga to remake The Fame instead of Born This Way. I am seeing the parallels now
Is there anything else to say about katy other than charts n stuff??
like memorable performances, good music videos, acclaim, etc?
Memorable Performances: IDK.
Good Music Videos: She has several
Acclaim: A couple of her singles are acclaimed and Teenage Dream, despite a low MC score, still got recognition.

Like that's a bad thing.
Just because she stays with the same team... doesn't mean the music would stay the same and shows no progression.
I mean Black Beauty DEMO shows a departure lyrically and sound wise for Lana. I thought UV would take that direction BUT NO.
Once Upon Dream cover for example...I thought UV will be like that.
So if you're a female artist and you want a good score from Pitchfork you must make brooding mood music interrupted by a soft bass (make sure it's soft lest they think you're making club music!)...and it would help if the bass has a bit of a trappy urban vibe to it...but just a little.
Not always. They love dancepop when it's good too. (Body Talk, TFM, etc.)
The best acted (and likely iconic) scene of 2012. The only moment in Hooper's folly that you can actually get a glimpse of something wonderous in his vision (essentially the Dope to his Artpop). Poor Susan Boyle!
