I wouldn't go too far with saying because they are girls they are getting bashed.
Everyone not just on ATRL was excited for these girls I just think it is bad timing on SM's part.

Sure maybe they would have gotten hate regardless but I doubt it would have been as bad as it is now.
It doesn't help that this concept screams cheap. I am not gonna count them out the girls are talented and I want to support them.

Melon just compile the album tracks. You can buy all the songs from an album but they count as separate digital track sales, not an album sale.

ah yeah, I've been in this kind of discussion before. It's a bit confusing since it's different from the Itunes format we are used to.
There are the albums in physical format, those shipped to your house, those are physical albums and count as album sales and Hanteo and Gaon release their numbers.

The ones you buy in digital format in Korea are not album sales, but digital track sales. Even if you buy all the songs off an album, it won't count as an album sale, but each track will count as a separate track sale.

I really don't get it to be honest, like I said, Hatius or not, I'm pretty sure Red Velvet's promo cycle would have overlapped with F(x)'s promo cycle no matter what. I think it's safe to assume this was SM's original plan. It's not like F(x)'s hatius has anything to do with those poor girls. But come one Life goes on, it's not like Sulli is dying or something, poor girl is depressed. There's probably more going behind the scenes with F(x) but how is that related to Red Velvet ?

This is what people were expecting.
Those who are not even mad about f(x) said how cheap and tacky the teaser looked.
