I wasn't promoting Gimme Your Best and a new single at the same time though
I went back to Gimme Your Best instead of releasing a 3rd single or continuing promotion for Touchin' Me

Why do you care what song I decide to promote? Whether it was Gimme Your Best last week or a completely new single, I still would've had the same position.. probably higher if it was a new song cause I would've done a video and other things to boost it

I can still promote Gimme Your Best, right?
I mean Celine is re-releasing a song from last season.. I should be able to promote my lead single if I want to, it's not like I'm also promoting a 3rd single at the same time.

Pixie Lott vevo interview about “Trapped In Flashbacks” and answers fans questions

Pixie Lott the rising star currently is in vevo studios answering fans questions, and talking about her new album “Trapped IN Flashbacks” the interview is being broadcast live on vevo tv channel, and youtube, fans are asking Pixie questions about her album, and other stuff, she is happily answering everything, and just being a sweetheart she truly is. Her new album is out now so you all buy it, the link is below, and join the chat now. You can ask questions here, under the video.
Pixie Lott: Hello everybody, got any questions for me? Don’t be shy just write your answer below under the video, and I’ll answer them, le’s have some fun (sips her water, and starts reading comments)
Funnygirl: Hi Pixie, I completely love you’re new album, it’s such a great and interesting album, what was the idea behind it?
Pixie Lott: Hello funnygirl, very good question let me answer it to you, well the idea was memories, as you can tell album is called trapper in flashbacks, so I’m just singing about my past, about my family’s past, and other people’s pasts that are living in this world, there are a lot of terrible things happening in this world, like discrimination, men beating up women, bullying, and prostitution, and I just can’t with things like this so I expressed my feelings in this album, and I think that it’s my personal album yet.
Pitt: If you could go to any place in the world where would you like to go, please answer.
Pixie Lott: Well Pitt, I would like to go to, where would I like to go, I have already been to so many places, but if I could comeback to somewhere I would like to go to Paris, it’s such a romantic and beautiful country, and I actually wrote my song sex & slavery there, so a lot of good memories about that country, I just want to visit it again!
Anita Burger: I really like you’re song from album “Barbie Doll” who inspired it, and how did it come out.
Pixie Lott: Thank you Anita, I’m glad you like it, and the inspiration behind it was my old friend Jessica, we we’re good friends back in the day when we were both 14 years old, but then her dad become very rich, cause his business started growing, they bought a huge house, she got good clothes, and everything and she become so stuck up. She literally forgot me, started acting with everyone like their trash, and had no respect for anyone not even her won parents. She kept buying unimportant stuff, shared her things online, and wrote you peasants better recognize, you never have this, and yeah, I was just so mad, and I wrote this song in school, it was a good f**k you for her. Sorry for saying the f word.
Electric Princess: You do realize you suck, and you’re new album is terrible, Taylor will gather you.
Pixie Lott: First of all I’m not a bitch and second of all, it’s your opinion if it sucks it sucks, but metacritic doesn’t agree with you boo, so I get the last laugh, and Taylor album is good, and I hope it does well, I don’t understand why you got to come here and put me down. Both albums are good, and you are just a bitter person sitting next to your computer screen, have a good day.
Babywetcakes: Any music videos coming any time soon?
Pixie Lott: I have already filmed to videos, but they are coming in the future so keep an eye out, they are both in my opinion great, and I hope you going to like it, but yes videos are coming, thanks for this question!
Later Pixie answered more fan questions and was lovely while answering them, she was very expressive, and was super beautiful, and acted cool, then she answered vevo questions about only her album.
Vevo: Hello Pixie, you’re new album is out, and we want you to tell us this, why stuck in flashbacks?
Pixie Lott: Hello, well I have already answered this but okay, stuck in flashbacks, because I wanted to share my past with people, I wanted them to relate to teen life problems, and problems that are already happening in the world, I want people to be aware, and to actually relate to songs, I really want them to experience this journey with me.
Vevo: Sounds great actually we thought about answer like that, interesting idea. Btw you’re new album has already cause some controversy since you were unknown artist, and now you on tv and everywhere, and just became huge how you feel?
Pixie Lott: I feel rewarded and over the moon, I worked incredibly hard, and now I’m finally noticed, took 7 years for that to happen, and now I’m finally a worldwide star, could I honestly ask for more, and for this opportunity I have to thank Neptune records, such a great team, they are doing everything for me, and I’m incredibly grateful.
Vevo: Well we are happy for you, will you give us any videos in future.
Pixie Lott: Yes, of course, I will I have some videos already but they will premiere next week, cause this week it’s all about the album and it’s promotion, and next week, I’ll should release first single, and first video, so wait a bit vevo, I’m coming soon!
Vevo: Uhh very good then, cause we are tired of watching your older videos, btw will you’re new video have a bigger budget. Cause Nasty video is a mess.
Pixie Lott: Of course it will, Nasty was so low budget, but I did the best I could with it, and these new videos will be way better and more interesting they will have a plot, won’t be the same dance, party videos, that all the artists make, I will show some art, and will try to do my songs justice, it’ s coming just wait. I will prove everybody that I can have decent videos.
Vevo: Well thanks you Pixie, it was a pleasure talking with you, hope to see you soon and with a video!
Pixie Lott: thank you too, I’ll be beck and next time I will for sure bring a video, so can’t wait, goodbye! Bye everybody, thanks for joining this chat my crazy cats. (sends air kiss, stands up, hugs interviewer, and leaves)
In the end Pixie left the studios all smiling, and fans we’re waiting for her with albums, she singed, took pics and then left for next promo spot, busy girl.

SULMITANEOUS RADIO ALBUM PLAY
(102.7 KIIS FM, Z100, Y100, AMP RADIO)
The release of Taylor Swift's seventh studio album this week has been major. Up for pre-order a week prior to today, the album immediately hit number one after those pre-orders officially counted as official sales. The album currently sits at the top spot on iTunes, Amazon, and most digital retailers that made the song available. Taylor Swift's label, Tigerlily Recordings shipped over seven hundred thousand copies worldwide to store retailers to put out on shelves. We've gotten news that over one hundred thousand copies have been sold in the first twenty four hours, becoming one of the fastest selling albums of the year and Taylor's second fest selling album, only a few thousand copies behind her fourth studio album, RED, which sold two hundred and sixty two thousand copies in the first twenty four hours of the album's release. It seems to be that 'Electric Princess' has the potential to become Taylor Swift's biggest album to date if she and Tigerlily Recordings play their cards right. (But the real question everyone is wondering is… "Where in the hell is Eric Saade?")
Promotion for the album would soon begin immediately after it's release. What marked the initial promotion was Taylor tweeted all of her American fans to tune into the major radio channels in the United States today at noon. This was similarly done with the premiere of Taylor Swift's lead single 'Loverboy' which hit the top of the singles charts this week, surpassing it's initial chart debut which was at number two. Taylor then would come on air on the following channels, Y100, Z100, KIIS FM, and AMP Radio (all channels), where she would tell her fans what was going on. "You're all about to hear my brand new album 'Electric Princess' in full for the first time on the biggest radio stations in America. I've worked so hard making a record that I believe everyone can relate to and love. I love you all so much and let's kick it off with the first track. Here's 'Candy" Taylor spoke over the radio as 'Candy', the first track on the album, began playing.
The album gained major attention for the premiere, many people tuning in surprised at the influx of Taylor Swift's songs that were playing in a row. Many tweets were sent out about the premiere, after they became aware of what was going on as Taylor would speak between the transition of the song to say "You're listening to the first radio play of 'Electric Princess' my new album out now". There were tons of tweets but here a select few. "Woah, didn't expect to listen to an entire Taylor Swift album today. A little upset I actually liked it!" a closeted jock from UCLA tweeted. "YASSS QUEEEN TAYLOR BITCH YASSS BITCH YOU BETTER ****ING SINGGG YASSS WHITE DONNA SUMMER YASS" a Taylor Swift stan from ATRL tweeted. The premiere helped the album greatly, insiders saying the album's sales boosted greatly after the simultaneous airplay it received from airing on the major radio channels.
Wall Street Journal
(INTERVIEW, SPREAD, ONLINE PERFORMANCE)
American beauty Taylor Swift might not only be one of the most beautiful pop stars today but she's also amongst the most talented. Writing every single song the singer has sang, along with co-producing, there seems to be no one who can debunk Taylor's talent. Even vocally, where Taylor perhaps falls the weakest, she's exceptional, vocal training helped greatly over the past two years as Taylor stepped up her game, improving her abilities to pen and sing song. With the release of her seventh studio album, 'Electric Princess', Taylor is back to a long seven days of catching flights and rides to promote not only to promote 'Electric Princess' but to also promote Taylor's brand new single, the second single from the album, 'Cathedrals'. A song that has been causing much buzz or controversy due to it's strong and intense meaning. A meaning that Taylor spoke to us about in her interview with the Wall Street Journal, a publication that praised her Giorgio Moroder produced album greatly.
"Well, 'Cathedrals' has quite the history behind it. It was written only two days before the album's finalization. It extremely last minute. I'd went back in the studio with Giorgio to fix up the ad-libs on 'In Love For A Night', which we did, but he sort of sneaked up behind me while I was playing it on my guitar. He was like "Taylor we have to record that. We still have time." I didn't really believe we did but it's Giorgio Moroder so I got my ass int the studio and recorded it. I loved it so much that I knew right away I wanted it to be the second single. "Manhattan Girls' was the song my label wanted to release but I sort of discussed it with them that I believed the song could do very well and sell the album simultaneously" Taylor told the Wall Street Journal in her interview. When asked about her lead single 'Loverboy' going number one this week, Taylor gushed. "I think that's really amazing. I can admit I was little bummed when I saw the song missed out on number one by as little as five thousand copies. But you know I think it was best that I waited before moving on to another song looking back on it now. Definitely." The next subjects covered were Taylor's personal life as the singer revealed who she was dating in her album booklet, in the thank you section.
"My personal life is something I try to keep sort of secretive, but that never seems to happen if you couldn't tell" Taylor chuckled with a smile as her red lips soon pressed the tip of the black mug of green tea we'd poured for her. "That's delicious. Like I was saying, having your personal life being constantly outed in the newspapers and media, reading that you're dating someone new every week, it all is frustrating. Extremely, actually. It's like that at first but it's to the point where I laugh at it. I'm so accustomed and used to it. If I'm actually dating someone I will let you know. When I'm ready. I wasn't really ready when I was with Brendon or Paige. But now, I think I am." It was then that Taylor talked about her boyfriend, male model, Simon Nessman. "He's one of the best people I've ever met. We met back in December when I was doing a concert in Paris. We instantly clicked but I was with Brendon at the time so I hadn't really thought of him that way. We were friends for awhile. I think what really opened my eyes to him was how considerate and sweet he was to me after the miscarriage and fallout between Brendon and I. I was highly upset and he was always there to hold me. He would stay the night . Not for anything more than just to keep me safe and sound. He was there when I felt the most alone. I don't see how anyone can walk away from someone who can love you at your worst. I couldn't walk away from him. I don't think I ever want to. God forbid if I ever do." Taylor would then follow up by performing her new single 'Cathedrals' which is rumored to be about Simon and Taylor's long time friend, Paige Elliot.

Paris Hilton Lands Massive Radio Deal
Paris Hilton is back and better than ever with her new single "Heartbreaker", the lead single off her currently untitled album. Paris stepped back into music after having an incredible time with Britney Spears for the Bad Girl Mix of Gimme Your Best. Ever since Paris has been writing songs and working in the studio with some of the best producers money can buy. Paris Hilton was signed to Toxic Records in an attempt to bring in another artist to the record label which is solely known for being "Britney's label". Paris is excited to make this comeback to music but knows that she needs to do it right and take every advantage she can get. Paris isn't the best vocalist or dancer but she certainly has the biggest bank account and has decided to splurge on a huge radio deal to promote her single. The single is produced by Max Martin & Dr. Luke and is a surefire hit, there's no escaping the pop tune and Paris wants to make sure that people won't be able to get it out of their heads. The beat is addictive and Paris' pop vocals perfectly fit the song, she doesn't sound bad but she's not trying to over sing, she's just keeping it strictly bubblegum pop and capturing the hearts and minds of all those who have been screwed over by a "heartbreaker".
Paris is teaming up with Clear Channel to have her new single "Heartbreaker" play at the top of the hour every hour on 300+ stations in the US. This is not the only deal Paris signed though it is a major one, it guarantees the socialite over 50k spins for the week. To increase the probability of hearing Paris on the radio and to target a specific demographic, Paris has signed the same deal with every Top 40 Pop station in the US. After the Z100 premiere, Z100 and all of the other top 40 Pop radio stations will play "Heartbreaker" once an hour, the stations will vary the times they play the song in an attempt to not overlap with one another. Reviews are coming in for the song and listeners are describing the song as "catchy" and "toxic-pop", fans and haters alike are enjoying the song and therefore the song will most probably get a bigger push by the pop stations even though the deal only requests one play per hour.
Paris commented on the radio deal saying:
"It's an advantage and in this business you have to take every advantage you can get sign whatever, I love my song and I like seeing it at #1 on iTunes. I wanna keep it there and so if everyone is hearing it on the radio, there's a better chance they will buy it."
Rumor has it Paris Hilton didn't exclusively pay for the radio deal since it was extremely costly, her dad got involved and covered most of the cost. Thanks to their family "Hilton Hotels & Resorts", it seems as though Paris will be able to buy just about anything she can to make this song a hit, the radio deal is just a start, it seems as though Paris is uninterested in the performance aspect of promotion and is searching for other ways to get around it.

"Lost In Rehab" impacts radio, smashes on Urban and Pop
Republic Records, a publishing and recording label, which is responsible for their current hit and money maker Zendaya, just announced via their website on the internet by posting a statement on the news that Zendaya's new single, "Lost In Rehab", will be released/sent for radio adds in a rushed way earlier than it was scheduled in the first place. When Zendaya's single was released the last Sunday, Republic Records announced that "Lost In Rehab" will be sent for adds on August 10, but today, they released yet another statemnt on this song, now confirming that the song will be rush released today. Plus, besides all of that rushiness, a lot of close sourcers and insiders started reporting earlier today that Republic Records signed a deal with some of the biggest radio stations like iHeartRadio, KIIS FM and Z100 to play miss Coleman's song on top of every hour for the new two weeks, but Republic didn't confirm it or deny it all on their statement, so that remains just as rumor for now. But those talks probably started because this song instantly became a huge hit on the radios, and it managed to get about 1,000 spins alone today, and Z100 has been playing this song at least five times a day for the past few days, and that is the main reason why people started guessing why it is getting so much of success on the radio lately. In their short statement, Republic Records explained, why they rushed this radio release and released it today instead of the August 10, the day that was originally planned: "We're really excited to announce that we are sending Zendaya's recently released single "Lost In Rehab" for radio adds earlier than it was planned - today. The main reason why we're pulling this trick is because we got some huge demands from a lot of radio stations over these past few days, since "Lost In Rehab" is really selling well at the moment, and it is slowly becoming a hit, so more and more radio stations want to play this song and add it on their playlists as well. Since they really want to play this song, we have no choice but do the thing that we think will only do wonders for this song, and will help it chart higher and sell better. Besides, "Lost In Rehab" is currently buzzing up a lot, and some radio stations have been playing this song from the first day, and since we want to help our artists to achieve their goals as much as possible, we are always trying to do everything that is in our power, and because we can afford sending this song to radios earlier than it was planned, we won't be wasting a chance like this and invest something in Zendaya. We are pretty sure this will pay off really well, because Zendaya and her music never fails to smash in the end. From this current moment, you can all hear the song playing on the radio - Pop, Urban, and Rhythmic formats - and you can also request it on your local radio stations by calling them up or just requesting it via Mediabase site." The song instantly became a huge hit on two formats, out of three formats that it was sent for - Urban and Pop - as about 150 Urban and Pop radio stations in total added Zendaya's song on their playlist and started playing the song right away. According to AllAccess.com, this kind of success of this song on the radio is really unexpected, since probably no one thought this mid-tempo ballad will smash this kind of way on the radio, but seeing this kind of success, they also predict this song a great future ahead of it, since only potential hits smash on the radio from the start. Now, Zendaya will be doing a little radio tour around the United States, and she will visit about ten different radio stations within next few weeks, just to promote this song. Zendaya already visited Z100 radio station in New York, and it is considered as one of the biggest radio stations in the whole America, alongside with KIIS FM, and at the Z100 studios, Zendaya played an acoustic version of "Lost In Rehab" and also gave an interview, and probably because of that, Z100 is now playing Zendaya's single at least five times a day for the past few days.
