LMAO, there is no need to "overrate" Batman. Superman is an icon but it's been a loooong time since he had ANYTHING on Batman. He is the most famous of ALL heroes/super-heroes, both from DC and Marvel, especially when we consider the fact that he's so dark and not even that easy to sell on a market that still depends a lot on what kids like the most.

This. Batman is the most acclaimed and known hero. Even his villains have more impact than his peers. It's really quite an accomplishment.

Marvel will have to DEAL.

If Superman alone managed to have a bigger opening weekend (and also bigger overall gross) than Captain America, Spiderman and the X-Men this year, let alone when he's gonna have Batman and Wonder Woman by his side. Cap3 will be CRUSHED come May 6th, 2016.

If this movie was just a superman movie, cap3 would oursell it no question. But batman and the fact that this is the "dawn of the justice league" will basically destroy it. There are people who have literally been waiting their whole life for this.

I agree. A stand-alone Superman movie after so many people were disappointed with Man of Steel - something I can't understand, I think it was an incredible movie - would probably have a hard time passing 200 million on the box office, so it was genius of DC to make the JL prequel before another Supeman-only movie.

It is when Marvel is making sure of it with all their jokes and sarcasm when it comes to the DC cinematic universe.

Of course it's a competition for the studios itself.. But I don't think I've ever come across one fan of DC that hates Marvel or vice versa.

Cap 3 will earn some decent money but it has no chance considering it's competition ..
- Has the trinity
- Ben Affleck curiosity
- First on screen incarnation of Wonder Woman
- Debuts of new characters through cameos
- the introduction to the JL

Oh, that is definitely silly. But trust me, there are people like that.

However, I do believe everyone prefers one or another. I, for example, prefer DC, even if my favorite comics after Batman have always been X-Men and Spiderman.

I won't mind BvS obliterating Cap 3 because the Marvel/Disney studio stans have been so full of it for so long now. Some of them even hate the X-Men movies because it is made by Fox. So annoying tbh.

Even though I'm batman Stan I'm most excited for Wonder Woman. I'm hoping her role isn't too small. She is soooo iconic, and yet has never been adapted in film mostly because she's female. Queen.

I'm a huge Marvel Disney stan but I can safely say that The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, X-Men 1, 2, DOFP > Thor, Thor 2, Iron Man, Iron Man 2
