Zendaya performs on Jimmy Fallon Show
After struggling a lot last week with her promo schedule as she managed to perform only on one show throughout the whole week, Zendaya is now once again back and all ready to go promote her recently released single "Lost In Rehab", which is a follow up to her lead and number one smash single "Gunshots". Although nobody's sure why Zendaya was struggling with promoting last week, but a lot of sources are saying that Zendaya was shooting two music videos last week - one for "Lost In Rehab", and other one for another, still unnamed, song. Both of her singles, "Lost In Rehab" and "Gunshots" are from her upcoming sophomore album, which is scheduled to be released sometime hopefully in August, via Zendaya's new recording and publishing label Republic Records. To start her promotion tour, Zendaya dropped by NBC Studios in New York earlier today, where she shot her appearance for Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. She appeared twice during the show - the first time that she appeared was when she and Jimmy Fallon, the host of the show, sat down to have a little chat, and then second time that she appeared on the show was when she performed "Lost In Rehab" on the stage right before the end of the show. It was a great promotion slot for "Lost In Rehab", since it's a late night show and adults watch this show more than teens, and Zendaya has been trying to break out as a serious artist for some time now, she wants to be taken seriously, not as a teen pop singer, so these kind of late night shows appearances are actually a great oppurtunity for her to break out as a serious artist now. Just as it was expected, after this performance aired on national TV, "Lost In Rehab" jumped significantly about ten spots higher, and entered Top 5 on iTunes charts immediately once again, since it dropped somewhere last week, because Zendaya didn't promote it at all.
Zendaya's performance was really simple as she appeared with four back up dancers and a live band behind her during her performance. The performance itself was really simple, just like I said before, because it didn't involve a lot of huge and exciting things, besides the dancers. It wasn't really possible to throw a huge performance anyways, because the stage isn't that big either, so it's normal to see simple performances. Zendaya's voice sounded good, but not as good as always, probably because she was dancing along with her dancers, and it's not that easy to sing and dance at the same time, especially knowing that Zendaya doesn't have those amazing and huge vocals anyways. But it was a cute performance anyways, everything was rehearsed before, and that's why everything went just as it was planned - smoothly, without any mistakes. Their dances moves were synchronized as well, and the choreography that they were doing was sick, it looked really amazing. For this performance, Zendaya decided to serve Zenny from the Block teas as she rocked Jennifer Lopez inspired look - on that stage, she was rocking baggy jeans, simple loose white shirt, big coat, simple black high heels and NY hat as well. Overall, even though the performance was simple, it was hella entertaining, because Zendaya knows how to do everything perfectly by not doing too much, like some of the artists do these days. After the performance, Jimmy Fallon walked on stage and hugged Zendaya to congratulate her for such a good performance, and he also told everyone to go buy Zendaya's new single "Lost In Rehab" on iTunes as well. Zendaya was glowing and smiling all the time, trying to catch her breath.
Interviewer: Now Zendaya, we all know that you actually refuse to talk about the backstory of this song, but can you at least tell us what this song is about?
Zendaya: I don't refuse to talk about the backstory, I'm not refusing at all! I just don't really want to reveal who is this person that inspired this song, that's all, I'm just refusing to name that person. I'm all fine with talking about the backstory, since I released this single to inspire, to save the people who are going through something similar. In fact, I think that we don't talk about this topic enough. But anyways, this song is about a friend of mine, who has went through a lot, and ended up in rehab, all alone, by himself. And instead of getting better in that place where you should actually get better, he became just more depressed and sad and everything became just worst for him, until he actually started re-thinking everything, and he decided to start doing things to achieve a better life. He made a lot of great choices, and now he is living a good, healthy and happy life.
Interviewer: Do you have any favorite songs at the moment?
Zendaya: Yes, definitely! I really like this song "Free" by G.R.L. I think it sounds really fresh and fun, all you need for a perfect summer anthem, and yeah, that is one of my favorite songs at the moment. In fact, I'm really looking forward to hear more from these girls, they never fail to impress me, I was shocked when I heard some of their exclusive snippets. And besides that, I'm really digging "Chains" by Nick Jonas, I think it premiered a few nights ago, and it is such an refreshing and surprising song, because I honestly didn't expect something like that from him. It's an amazing song, I really love it. And it's perfectly written as well.
Interviewer: So what's next for you?
Zendaya: I'm basically just promoting this single, "Lost In Rehab" now, and then I will be releasing my sophomore album, which is ready to go now. Both of the singles that I've released so far - "Lost In Rehab" and "Gunshots" perfectly introduces the sound and the theme of this album, and I think now that people know the sound of this album I want to release it already. So yeah, I'll be launching the album within next few weeks, and I'm really excited for that one. Then, I'll probably release the third single from this album. Also, I'm really excited to confirm that I'll be touring next month, in August, I will be touring all around US first, and we're also planning a world tour as well. I want to go to a lot of places and meet my fans from all around the world.
Interviewer: Any hint on your third single?
Zendaya: Well, it's not chosen just yet, but we're starting to talk about it, we're listening to the songs, we're showing those songs to other people, we're picking it at the moment. Personally, I really love this one song, and it features another artist, BUT... But I don't want to spill anything more, I want it to remain as a surprise. Oh, I think I can say that this song is the happiest song on this album. It's written in a bit of a sarcastic way, but it's fun and upbeat and summery. It's such a jam, such a banger. It's nothing like "Gunshots" or "Lost In Rehab".

RITA + AZEALIA APPEAR ON 'DANCING WITH THE STARS'
The duo have been everywhere this past week promoting their collaboration 'Time to Hop Off'. They stopped at DWTS to perform their new single, which has been topping the iTunes Charts for the past week. DWTS had announced a "special performance" that would happen at their finals which were on Thursday, and watchers of the show have been speculating on who would be performing. Azealia teased her fans by tweeting on Wednesday, "Something special is happening tomorrow." Her fans began discussing the possibility of the pair performing 'Time to Hop Off', the hashtag '#RITALIAonDWTS' trended following Azealia's tweet.
On Thursday evening, Rita and Azealia were spotted entering a long limo and fan blogs speculated that they were indeed the special performance. They were right! Azealia wore a gold Valentino blazer and matching pants. Her hair was curled and hung down to her waist. Her makeup was dark and smoky and her eyeliner was light gold. Rita wore a matching outfit, although hers was black instead and was Alexander McQueen. Her hair was slicked back and put in a small pony tail. She had smoky makeup like Azealia and her lips were a dark matte red. They posed for pictures together and posed for pictures with fans around them, but they didn't have time to for interviews. They dashed indoors just as the show began, and they could be heard rehearsing as the dancers danced. After all the finalists had gone, the host announced their special guests. The crowd cheered, as the lights dimmed and the host walked off the dance floor.
A spotlight shone on the stage, and Rita was seen walking out from below the stage. She performed a solo 'Tango' dance for a few seconds, before a second spotlight appeared on the stage. Azealia appeared in the second one, wearing a puffy white dress with her hair hanging around her. Rita, too, had changed. She wore a silver tuxedo and her hair was slicked back to look like a man's. The duo walked towards each other and met at the middle. The joined hands and Tangoed across the dance floor to some lounge music. The danced and when they got into the center, they froze and the instrumental of 'Time to Hop Off' started playing. While they stood frozen in the center, four pairs of female dancers dressed in the same male/female ballroom style as Rita and Azealia walked onstage hand-in-hand. The pair and the other dancers dance along the the song as both Rita and Azealia sang and the crowd clapped along. When the finished, they took a bow and walked offstage. After the performance, both singers' albums rose on iTunes.
Rita and Azealia's new single, Time to Hop Off, is now available on iTunes.

__________________________________________________ _______________
Charli XCX called BBC Radio 1 to talk abotu iverse topics in her career right now, including her small break, music right now, collaborations, various projects and more. Charli's interview brought in many listeners who after listening to Charli's interview decided to check her new music and buy it. 'Devour My Heart' and 'Tokyo Lights' are now available on ITunes.
Well now we have this wonderful singer, this is Charli XCX, calling us from Los Angeles! Hello Charliiii!
Heyy how are you guys?
Personally I'm fine but we're not here to talk about me we're here to talk about you!
I'm sure people are more interested about that *laughs lightly*
Your single 'Tokyo Lights' is already a smash hit! Congrats! What do you think about how people reacted to it?
Thank you! I'm really happy people enjoy the song as much as i do because it's my favorite song on the album, even though I think every track on it is great!
You just released this new version of the song which was created for this new sony commercial, can you tell us about it?
Yeah well I had a few friends who I met a few months ago and they actually have a lot of influence within the company. They are some of the people who were the first to listen to the song and they actually proposed it to the Sony CEO who listened to it and enjoyed it so he contacted my manager and asked if they could use it and me in their new commercial I accepted! After some time, we also recorded a new commercial which ended up being the one which featured the new version of Tokyo Lights and the one being played around thousands.
We will now play this brand new version of 'Tokyo Lights'!
*Tokyo lights (Sony Version) is played*
Did you work with this 'Remix' with Ariel Rechtshaid as well?
Actually, even though Ariel did help me with it Emile Haynie is the one who was the main producer of the song! He did an impressive job with it.
Did you record new vocals for this song or did you just use the old ones?
I recorded the whole song over again, we wanted it to be a completely new version of Tokyo Lights. One which would amaze the world you know? Be more about vocals. In a certain... London Grammar kind of way.
You like London Grammar?
yeah A lot actually! They are some of my favorite acts right now. Their album 'If You wait' is a masterpiece!
Do you Listen to anyone besides London Grammar lately?
Well I've listened to a lot of Zendaya lately, 'Lost in Rehab' and 'Gunshots' are some amazing songs, Taylor has some masterpieces as well. The industry right now has some great acts, Rita Ora, Azealia Banks, Sky Ferreira... all those people inspire me.
Now we will play Charli's single 'Alone in the Dark'!
*Alone in the Dark plays*
You've already confirmed that you're working on this new version of your tour, cna you tell us about it?
Well it's starting really soon like September... It's not a whole new tour, I still want it to be the 'Tokyo Lights Tour' but it's brand 'new' on many sides.
Have you been working with specific people for this tour?
I've mostly worked with Sony actually! Sony is making the different screens used on the show, they are also making sure that the visuals of the tour are great!
Are you working on new music?
Yeah, I always work on new music, that's not even a question people should ask me, I never stop writing you know!
But have you been finishing up songs?
Yeah... I've already recorded like 3 or 4 songs. I'm not sure what I'll do with those... I'm not even sure if I'm going to release them, they aren't specifically made for a project or something. But I've had this small idea in mind which I can't really talk about just yet!
Well it's been great talking to you Charli, we will now play TOKYO LIGHTS Charli XCX's new single which is now available on ITunes!
*Tokyo Lights Plays*
After the interview, the new version of 'Tokyo Lights' has been added to many different stations all around the world and 'Tokyo Lights' has constantly been played in many big radios all around the world. The new version has also been played at stores such as Macy's, Starbucks, Zara and More.

RITA HEADLINES DAY TWO OF THE ITUNES FESTIVAL
The iTunes Festival was packed with people all buzzing over the performance that were scheduled for the day. The most-hyped performance of the Day 2, was Rita's 2 hour set. She headline the Indigo Stage, making her the first Artist to do so with her first album. The crowd start filling up around the Indigo Stage at 3pm and Rita's set began half and hour later. Right before she hit the stage, a countdown began and at each count, fire pyrotechnics shot up from the stage ground. The countdown ended, and the crowd went crazy and she slowly ascended a platform. She wore a Dolce & Gabbana crop top and Armani Jeans paired with 7inch Timbaland pumps. Her hair was dyed for the performance, and she had purple tips.
She stood there with a straight face, as the crowd roared in anticipation. After 10 seconds of standing still, she raised her mic and yelled 'ARE YOU READY TO GET CRAZY WITH ME TODAY' and the crowd yelled positive responses. She smiled, and the beat drop of 'Fire Starter' blasted through the speakers. She yelled, "JUMP. JUMP. JUMP" as she bounced across the stage and the audience listened. They yelled and the atmosphere was filled with the blaring dubstep drop and the cheering from the crowd. Six dancers came up on stage, and they performed heavy choreography as the audience yelled and jumped. She then sang her verses and gyrated across the stage. She then performed some tracks from her album including "Impulse to Soar", "Blindside", and "C*m Over Here". She also performed her new song with Azealia 'Time to Hop Off' although Azealia couldn't attend today. The crowd sang along as she performed her verse and the chorus and they even sang Azealia's part. She stared in awe and smiled as they got all the words in Azealia's verse correct. She then closed out her set with a vocally riveting rendition of 'Losing Me'. When she finished performing, the crowd applauded and cheered for her. She thanked them and walked off.
Rita and Azealia's new single, Time to Hop Off, is now available on iTunes.

EUROPEAN MUSIC AWARDS
Continuing their jointed promotion this week, Danity Kane and Céline Dion performed a medley of hits at the European Music Awards this Tuesday, the day “Ratchette” was re-released. Since Céline Dion had killed Barbra Streisand here, nobody expected her to perform at the event but she did and she delivered an amazing… and killer-free performance most importantly. The four performed a total of six songs, four for Danity Kane and two for Céline. Danity Kane used “Show Stopper”, “Poetry”, “Rage” and “Lemonade” for the performance while Céline used “Ratchette” and a brand-new song “Leisurely” premiered there. After the performance, “Ratchette” sky-rocketed into the Top Five of almost all European countries, while Danity Kane experienced many boosts on iTunes as well especially with their EP just being released and being cheaper compared to other products since it is an EP of course.
The introduction was “Show Stopper”, as popular brands of cars in Europe where on a spinning circular stage as each member of DK3 came out a car and began to sang the introduction and the chorus while the band made some re-arrangements. “EMAs! ARE YOU ****ING READY?” Aubrey screamed. “****ING CÉLINE DION!” she held out like an announcer on WWE / Classic Boxing Matches and a glass wall completely covered the glass but you could see-through it. Céline was pressed against the wall in a mannequin-esque form then the music kicked to “Ratchette” as fans and celebrities started going OFF in the arena. She sang half of the song, sounding amazing with many dancers in hot clothing. Céline went into a rage, breaking the wall as the emotional “Poetry” came on and Danity Kane walked to Céline to comfort her. When everything was alright, they went into “Rage” and sang DK’s brand-new, uplifting single together while they were raised up above a platform that was able to move all over the arena. Next up was “Lemonade” where Céline rapped her part and got down as the platform descended to the complete other side of the arena where there was another stage. Céline then went on to perform solo as she screamed into the crowd: “WHO WANTS A NEW ****ING SONG TONIGHT EUROPE MAKE SOME NOISE!!!!!!!!!” and the crowd absolutely roared while meltdowns happened with viewers at home.
She then shouted: “THIS IS CALLED ‘LEISURELY’, AND IT’S ABOUT MAKING THIS **** LOOK EASY.” and then the music started to play. A very calm, yet hot Urban beat with some claps here and there and little Electronic details played as Céline began to use her R&B tone, but she didn’t sing. She did a combination of sing-rap which was so cool, and the crowd it. The chorus hit as lights went a little more chaotic and she shouted: “EFFORTLESSLY. SLAY ME. LEISURELY.” into the microphone as Danity Kane ad-libs were used in playback as they sang “I’m makin’ this **** look easy”, sampling a scrapped song they did called “All In A Day’s Work” last year. She then did a dance with other dancers and then headed to a throne and was carried on the chair as she kept whispering the lyrics. “My expenses, so expensive / Collect my check, yeah” she sang with the little Electronic beams in the sound coming up. She then took a crown above her head and laughed: “Hahaha Queen of Ratchet Pop is here bitches” and she continued with the song, stage diving and continuing to sing as she surfed the crowd. She returned to the stage and kicked back on the throne as the performance ended.

Charli XCX on Le Grand Journal
611 Words

__________________________________________________ ___________________
Charli XCX stopped by France earlier this week to promote her new single 'Tokyo Lights' as wellas previous single 'Alone in the Dark' and finally her album 'Devour My Heart' over there. This is Charli's first appearance in France but 'Alone in the Dark' and 'Tokyo Lights' have been doing amazingly well even without promotion. She stopped by to answer a few questions regarding her music. Charli's interview can also be watched on Youtube. 'Tokyo Lights' and 'Alone in the Dark' can be purchased on ITunes or streamed on Youtube and Spotify.
She is a British Singer she's 21, nearly 22 and she's been touring all around the world except in France. She is already huge here, please welcome the one and only Charli XCX!
*Charli arrives on stage wearing a beautiful white dress with black boots, her hair is up in a beautiful puffy ponytail. She thanks the crowd before sitting down*
Woow this crowd is amazing! *Hysterical screams from the crowd*
Welcome Charli to the set of Le Grand Journal!
Thank you! I'm happy to finally be in France!
We are happy as well! Now let's get to the interview, Your album, is already one of the best selling albums this year, and has topped the charts here in France, can you tell us more about it?
Well I'm not sure there's anything I haven;t said about it ebfore, it's a album that was mainly produced by Ariel Rechtshaid and PAtrik Berger with some help by a few other producers. The album is a album to thank the fans! My angels are the best.
What's the theme of the album?
Well it's really a love story under different 'spotlights' let's say. It's a album which shows different sides of a love story, different views and it's effects. Each song kind of talks about one of those sides, 'Tokyo Lights' for example, is more about the discovery of lve which is why it's also the first track on the album. I 'discover' the real meaning of love by meeting someone amazing.
What about the other tracks, what's their themes?
Well I don't think we have time to talk about all the songs but 'SuperLove' is more about desire and seduction, 'Alone in the Dark' is a break-up song, 'Divide' is a song about wanting to be reunited, 'Out of my control' is a song about how things can go from good to bad in just a few seconds.
Your music is actually fascinating! Your single 'Tokyo Lights', had a music video released last week, can you explain it? like what the music video is about?
Well it relates to the theme of the song. At first we can see me on a heart made of lightbulbs. During the video, I open up a door which leads me to tokyo where i basically 'meet' this one special person and the lightbulbs start lighting up, I've 'discovered' the true meaning of love!
After the interview, Charli got up to perform 'Alone in the Dark'. All lights were turned down and the only light source was basically Charli's outfit, which was made off a pink neon outfit. She sang the song energetically and beautifully. After 'Alone in the Dark' she performed her current single 'Tokyo Lights', with a lot of energy and made some people in the audience dance with her on stage. The corwd enjoyed the big perofrmance nearly as much as Charli XCX who seemed extremely happy to perform her songs live in France, to her big fan base over there. It's so good to be here!" she said during the performance. Charli thanked the crowd before leaving the studio.

RITA'S 'LOSING ME' IS FEATURED IN SECOND AMQ COMEMRCIAL
Following Rita's announcement as the face of Alexander McQueen two weeks ago, the initial commercial featuring her buzz track 'Fire Starter' was released. Late last night, the second commercial was released on the official AMQ website and since the commercial has been shown on multiple TV channels. The second of three commercials features Rita's lead single, 'Losing Me' and the video has received over 6 million views since being uploaded to YouTube last night. The commercial is being played on a Billboard at Times Square, and is featured as a mandatory YouTube ad.
The commercial starts off as the screen fades from black and reveals a busy street scene. People are walking about and the camera cuts to a back view of a blonde woman inside a store, standing in front of a window overlooking the street. We can only see from her shoulder blades and up. She turns to face the camera and we see that the lady is Rita Ora. She smiles and the camera follows her as she walks out the store. As the walks, the camera zooms out slowly revealing her long gown. The instrumental for 'Losing Me' begins to play as she walks out. As she struts along the sidewalk, people turn to stare at her, gawking. She crosses the street, and the cars on the road all stop as the driver look at her.
As she walks, people begin to follow her. Drivers hop out of their cars as she passes by and the driverless vehicles crash into each other, although the instrumental blocks out the sound. The crashed cars catch on fire, but no one seems to notice as everyone's attention is on her. She continues to walk, but she doesn't notice the mass of people following her. The fire that started because of the cars gets bigger and suddenly the cars explode. The instrumental stops abruptly, and the sound of the explosion is heard. Rita hears it too and turns around finally noticing the people behind her. She turns to face the camera and smiles. "I get that a lot," she says. The instrumental resumes and she walks past the camera and the crowd follow her. The words, TURN ALL HEADS, appears on the screen and the screen fades to black and the AMQ logo appears and advertises the new collection. Then 'Buy Rita singles 'Time to Hop Off' and 'Losing Me' now on iTunes' appears on the screen right as the commercial ends.
Since the commercial was released, Rita's old single 'Losing Me' climbed five spaces on the iTunes charts back to number four and 'Time to Hop Off' retained its huber one spot.

MTV MOVIE AWARDS
Continuing to save the girls' careers and hype a comeback of her own, Céline headed to the MTV Movie Awards with Danity Kane to perform a mash-up of two fantastic but opposite awards. They were set to perform "Ratchette / Rage" - which Céline has recently re-released and have even hungered the fans more for new music. The performance was the highlight of the night, as MTV's beloved Danity Kane served a spectacular performance and the US went crazy seeing Céline again for the first time in forever since she's been promoting in other areas of the world. The performance helped boost "Rage" into the Top Ten on iTunes as well as "Ratchette", which could actually chart in the Top Ten this week considering DK3 and Céline have been promoting side-by-side almost the entire week. 'DK3' also helped get a nice 5% increase in their average hourly sales, but still topping the iTunes Chart since the day the EP was released. However with Azealia Banks and Rita Ora blazing a collaboration together, the possibility of Rita Ora's album going #1 is still there. This is Danity Kane's second Award Show they performed at this week, as they will perform at the World Music Awards with Tyga and Céline Dion later this week to really, really get worldwide figures to come out and help them. Angelina Jolie came up to the stage, chuckling and smiling - she looked stunning of course. "What do you get when you put an MTV legends and a psychotic ratchet girl together? You get a raging, ratchet, thirst-quenching and heart-racing performance. And that's what these ladies plan to do tonight. Please welcome to the stage singing a mash-up of Ratchette and the new single Rage, Céline Dion and Danity Kane!"
The lights dimmed on as the four vocalized on stage and then harmonized singing the opening lyric from Danity Kane's song "Bad Girl", "When the, red light comes on / I, transform" they sang to a piano and then Shannon whispered "let's go!" as the lights popped and "Ratchette" began playing. Danity Kane's job in the song was to dance with the rest of the dancers. Céline spun around and began strutting as she sang the song. She wore white clothes, showing off her legs but had on black hooker-esque boots with Danity Kane wearing the exact same colors / style with different types of shirts and shorts. They all wore red lipstick with the dancers too, even some of the men who were shirtless. The setup was a fashion show, as everyone was in the background chaotically getting ready to walk the runway. During the pre-chorus, Danity Kane strutted the runway singing parts of "Blackout" instead of Barbra's pre-chorus. The pre-chorus of "Blackout" fit perfectly into the "Ratchette" performance, as Céline came out with paparazzi roaring as she came onto the runway belting out the chorus and then everybody entered a dance breakdown as Danity Kane's verse was done via playback from the Show Stopper remix of "Ratchette" done last year, which went Gold and assisted in making "Ratchette" almost 3X Platinum and selling over 1 Million copies in its peak week. After that the smoke cluttered as the four disappeared.
About twenty seconds later they were hanging from the ceiling on really small platforms that kind of flew over the audience as Dawn shouted: "Light it up MTV!" with the lights dimming and everybody putting their phone flashlights out and waving them like crazy as Dawn opened up for "Rage". Céline Dion then sang the pre-chorus as Shannon and Aubrey did "ooh"s harmonizing in the background as everybody belted the chorus, "We rage / At the party, like maniacs" they sasses doing different gestures and motions on each of their platforms and went all out. Aubrey then sang her verse slaying and Shannon did her pre-chorus effortlessly, with Dawn and Céline doing light ad-libs/harmonies in the background with them raging to the chorus and going all out flipping their hair and getting rowdy and turnt up on their platforms. Céline then jumped twenty feet off into the crowd as they caught her well, but people were scared she was gonna die. Danity Kane sang "oh" in harmonies as Shannon shouted: "MTV MAKE SOME NOISE!" and they waved their hands to the final chorus with the crowd as it showed Céline being surfed everywhere in the crowd, as one girl tried smelling her hair and Céline looked at her like "The ****?" and many gifs were made of that. Danity Kane finished the performance by sticking their firsts up in the hair and smoke being shot out everywhere with the lights flickering, then completely blacking out.

Zendaya performs at Wireless Festival
Zendaya made an appearance at the annual Wireless Festival in London, where she performed a set of her songs for the audience on the main stage. During her set, which was also broadcasted live on TV in United Kingdom, she performed three songs and also performed a little snippet of a new song, which is still unnamed as she decided to not to tell the audience the name of this song and Zendaya didn't comment on why she is previewing this certain track. The audience greeted her with really loud shouts and cheers as they went wild once miss Coleman appeared on the stage while live band played the intro and dancers were doing their little introduction choreography. Zendaya was feeling great, because she obviously loved how amazingly and cheerfully everyone welcomed her on stage, as she was smiling from ear to ear. It probably feels really good when you know people want to see your performance, those kind of welcoming shouts set everything in a right direction, since artists probably gain confidence in that way. She started her gig with a performance of her hit number one single "Gunshots", which features the one and only Taylor Swift, who probably is the reason why this song became so huge in such short of time, since it would have been basically impossible for Zendaya to snatch that number one without someone really huge helping her out with everything. The performance of this song was crazy and wild indeed, because literally everyone in the audience knew the words and sang along with Zendaya. It was such an amazing feeling when everyone sang along together, it was even heard to hear Zendaya's voice, since audience over-sang her. The second song that Zendaya performed was a little bit slower song - her recently released second single "Lost In Rehab", which is a little bit more sad and slow song, and that's why the dancers walked off the stage during this performance as Zendaya settled down and stood infront of a microphone stand, which just meant that this performance will be slower. It was a beautiful performance, Zendaya gave it all that she had, basically, by doing her best with those vocals. Although it's not a secret that Zendaya doesn't have that strong, Adele-esque voice, but she sure did her best and she even hit those high and low notes anyways. It's obvious, that Zendaya has been taking a lot of vocal classes and she has been practising it. And besides, Zendaya did a hell of a job by expressing all those mixed up feelings through her voice and lyrics. The third song that Zendaya chose to perform was a brand, never before performed song "Cuts Like Diamonds", which was originally recorded by songwriter and singer Charli XCX, but since Zendaya fell inlove with the demo that was floating around YouTube, she asked Charli's permission to rerecord the song for herself. Although some of the people in the audience already knew how this song sounds, but it was probably still weird to hear this song in a completely different way, since it was more uptempo urban now. However, it still slayed, and it sounded great indeed. After performing "Cuts Like Diamonds", Zendaya shouted out Charli XCX by thanking her for letting miss Coleman to record this song for herself, and because Charli is now huge in her homecountry after her singles smashed over there, audience reacted really amazingly once Zendaya mentioned XCX's name. To finish off her set, Zendaya decided to preview her upcoming brand new track exclusively for the first time. This time, live band didn't even play the song, as someone probably just played its instrumental, while Zendaya sang a couple of lines. The song sounded like a complete banger, it was really upbeat, and it sounded fresh and cool, and especially, original and unique, something, that others lack of lately. The song sounded great, and the production seemed to be really similar to "Blurred Lines", "ATM Jam" and "Can't Rely On You", which made a lot of people think that this one was produced by hitmaker Pharrell Williams. Zendaya sang a couple of lines, which made this whole thing sound even better, and depending on those few lines that she sang, the song is probably about revenge. Since the song is a complete dance banger, audience reacted really amazingly as they started jumping with their hands in the air, and Zendaya seemed to love this kind of amazing reaction. After she performed the last song, Zendaya just thanked everyone for coming by to watch her perform set of her songs, and then she just walked off stage as live band played the outro.

Ultra Music Festival 2014
('Loverboy' Remix Performance)
Though Taylor Swift may not be considered as a dance artist, or any type of artist having to do with electronic music, the singer-songwriter still made an appearance at this years Ultra Music Festival 214 in Miami where she joined disc jockey Porter Robinson on stage to perform her brand new remix of her lead single off her upcoming seventh studio album that is titled 'Electric Princess'. Swift joined him on stage to perform 'Loverboy', the song produced by disco legend Giorgio Moroder who produced over ninety percent of Taylor's seventh album. " That remix was a preview of Porter's remix of 'Loverboy'. It sounded absolutely sick so I asked my manager if there was a way they could get ahold of his or his label. I know that would take forever so I just tweeted him myself and the next day I was sent his remix of the song. It's absolutely amazing" Taylor said in an interview about how the remix between the two occurred.
After Martin Garrix's set, whom Taylor also got a picture with, Porter Robinson came on stage to mix his songs and such, giving very live elements to his music as Taylor waited to the side of the stage chatting to Martin, who seemed to have a taking with the American pop starlet. It was then that the beginning synths of 'Loverboy' came on that the audience went wild. Demanding the audience to put their hands up they did as Taylor had moved from the side of the stage. When smoke filled the stage, Taylor rose out of the stage with a microphone, the audience going wild. From there Taylor started singing over the beat, the audience clapping their hand to the beat as Taylor over around stage wearing a silver Zuhair Murad dress that hugged her body in all the right places. She flipped her hair sexily to the beat, moving around stage and even at one point going up with Porter to dance next to him. The audience jumped with her, which was surprising as some EDM fans have something against pop stars. The performance energetic, not serious, but tons of fun.
The performance was uploaded to youtube and was shown on all channels that were airing the Ultra Music Festival. Taylor Swift also spoke about her performance at the festival after she had gotten off stage. "That was really fun. Porter was amazing enough to let me go out there and perform it live. Which was nerve-wracking since I did that with no rehearsal. It worked really well and I think everyone had fun with me. It was just really fun and amazing. I can definitely say that." The performance of the song helped boost the Porter Robinson remixed version of the song on iTunes, sending it into the top fifteen where it currently sits at number twelve. Make sure to get the remixed version of 'Loverboy' along with the original version today on iTunes, Amazon MP3, Beatport, or Google Play today.
CMT AWARDS
(Loverboy Performance)
Taylor Swift was live from the Academy of Country Music Television Awards this Tuesday where she delivered a performance of her brand new disco-pop song entitled 'Loverboy'. The singer was announced to perform at the show last minute, during a promotional advertisement that aired during commercial breaks on CMT. "We needed an artist to draw in viewers for the show and no other artist can do it like Taylor Swift. We asked her to perform a month or two ago but she rejected. We were in desperate need so we ended up paying Taylor Swift to perform at this year's CMT awards. We removed Carrie Underwood from the performers list and put Taylor there instead. She's now the only female besides Miranda Lambert performing at the show" a representative from CMT said to the press today about all the controversy it had been causing on country music forums.
Taylor did not appear on the red carpet but instead only showed up to the venue ten minutes before her performance left as soon she could, after changing into a sun dress and quickly exiting into a black suburban. Taylor was introduced to the stage by Carrie Underwood, who's performance slot she took. Taylor then was on stage, popping out where she stood with her guitar. Instead of playing the original version of the song, she played a country-rock version, it sounding a bit off but fine once the synths kicked in, giving it a more rock-pop element instead. Dressed in an Ellie Saab black dress with an attachment garment on the back Taylor sang the song as visuals behind her played of black. There were no dancers on stage but instead pictures of attractive men where played behind her, giving the gays in the audience (zero of them) life. The audience loved the performance and clapped for their lost queen of country and Taylor smiled without a thank you and left the stage.
Country music fans were positive of the performance, admiring Taylor for switching up the original sound of the song into something more suitable for country music listeners to listen to. When asked on her way out about the performance, Taylor only spoke a few words. "I went out there and performed. Please send CMT my thanks for the check. Also make sure you tell them to double it when they shade me again and ask me to perform again next year. Thanks." Taylor then blew a kiss to a camera and exited the building. Fans died for the rock version of the song but got nothing. You can buy Loverboy on iTunes now.
LOS ANGELES TIMES
(Interview & Spread)
Taylor Swift has been one of the biggest pop stars as of late in pop music. There seems to be nothing that can stop the singer-songwriter from emaking an appearance in the top ten on charts whenever she releases. With her past few albums, Taylor has sold over a million copies of each one, becoming one of the best selling artists in the past decade. Not only is Taylor Swift one of the best selling artists of the decade but she's one of the wealthiest, having a net worth of over two twenty four million dollars ($224,000,000). Also one of the influential of her generation, there seems to be no end with all Taylor is good at. In her interview with the Los Angeles Times, Taylor talks about her success, influence, and about her highly publicized personal life that everyone seems to want some information of.
LAT: You've become of the biggest popstars of your generation. You have ten consecutive top three singles, six of those number ones to your name, along with three number one albums. The longest reigning number one and longest charting song. How is it to have such success when you're so young? TS: I don't really like to shower myself with success because if you do you become arrogant. It's kind of unavoidable but recently I've stopped worrying about the success because it's the music that matters to me. The success is just the sprinkles on the cake. I love that people love my records enough to buy them. I love that they feel the art I make, my personal art, is relatable and good enough for them to buy and listen to, too. Because I know how hard it is for artists like myself to actually sell music in the current state of the industry.
LAT: You're brand new album, Electric Princess, is coming out. What do you think or who was the main inspiration behind the album? TS: I'm pretty sure everyone knows that when I was dating Brendon, his and I relationship heavily inspired my album that I released when we were together. The ending of our relationship was the subject of the extended play. This album isn't really about anyone in particular. Except a few songs that I wrote towards the end of the recording process. The album is really just about being a girl who's living life moment by moment, letting go of the thought of tomorrow with just the hopes for tonight.
LAT: You've been known to have very highly publicized personal life. We want to know. How is it being under the public eye about who you date? TS: Having everyone want to know who I'm dating is really scary. It makes me fearful at times but at the end of the day I'm going to do and be with who makes me happy. No one's happiness comes first rather than my own. So it is crazy but I deal with it. LAT: Are you and Paige still together? TS: We're friends currently. Dating was a little too awkward for us. But I've been seeing a really nice guy ever since Brendon and I split. We were never dating but we enjoyed each other's company. We'd go to little cafés and such whenever we went to Paris.
VH1 TOP 20 COUNTDOWN
(INTERVIEW)
Taylor Swift was live on VH1's Top Twenty Countdown this weekend where she was a guest. Interviewed by the host, Taylor talked about her upcoming album that has caused much anticipation from many avid music listeners. Taylor talked about her album, it's release, the current single campaign, and also about future plans for touring. It just so happened this week that the video for the lead single off of Taylor's seventh studio album hit the top spot on the Vh1 Top 20 Video Countdown, titled 'Loverboy'. The song has become an amazing success for the singer-songwriter scanning almost gold in it's first week, selling over four hundred thousand copies, proving Taylor's claim that she could very get a hit own her own following the collaborations the singer released (Psycho and Gunshots).
"Taylor Swift is with us" the host of the countdown said as Taylor sat with him in Central Park. "Alright, Taylor. You have a brand new album coming out in what I mean very shortly. Do you have any plans in celebrating it's release?" Taylor smiled and grinned. "I will actually be promoting when it's released. I'll have no rest Saturday or Sunday since the album releases at midnight." The next question involved the 'Loverboy' music video. "The music video for 'Loverboy' was one of the best videos we've had visually in awhile. How was it filming it?" Jim asked. "The music video was really fun to film. I worked with Karlie, Simon, and Jo in it and they were incredibly great. We had tons of fun filming it and the direction I had in mind was very well done by the editors I think." The next question caused Taylor to blush. "How was it kissing Simon?" "Uh well it was nice. He's a really good kisser and it wasn't the first or last time we kissed." Taylor let out unawarely.
"There's been much talk about your upcoming single, 'Manhattan Girls'. Is there a video set in mind for that, yet?" Jim asked Taylor who was chewing on a piece of gum. "We haven't gotten the chance to film the video just yet but there's a concept in mind. A really nice concept. There's an entire storyline and everything with it. We'll be filming it soon. Sometimes this week, hopefully." The last question was news that Taylor's new video 'Loverboy' was the number one video on the countdown. "Good news is that four way you had in a pool is the number one video this week. Go ahead and introduce it." Taylor then introduced the video with a smile before she waved off. "Thank you so much for making my video number on this week. I love you. This is my video for 'Loverboy'. Enjoy!"
MTV
(Interview & Concert)
Taylor Swift has had yet another week of heavy promotion, perhaps not as heavy as the first week release of her Giorgio Moroder produced single 'Loverboy' had but somewhat it's been scarily close. The singer has been live on radio stations the entire week. From Capital FM UK and Kiss FM UK, two of the biggest stations in the United Kingdom to American stations such as Y100 Miami, 97.1 AMP Radio, and Ryan Seacrest, there seems to be nowhere you can't hear the singer on the radio. With the release of her seventh studio album 'Electric Princess' nearing, there seems to be no break from the take over Taylor Swift and her label 'Tigerlily Recordings have in for everyone for the promotional campaign they seem to be giving Taylor with this record. "It's become one of the most promoted campaigns we've seen by a Tigerlily Recordings artist. Even for Tigerlily Recordings, one of the most known labels for giving all their wrists great promotion, this is quite odd for them to be investing so much of their profit into their artists" a music executive who used work for Columbia Recordings said to Billboard.
Today Taylor Swift was interviewed and performed for MTV, Taylor performing at an exclusive concert that was aired by MTV itself. Taylor Swift where she gave exclusives about her upcoming album that's being released in less than twenty four hours. Taylor was nothing but smiles as she wore a cute little outfit that showed off her very sexy long legs. "We've recently noticed that the track list for the album, Electric Princess, has been changing all week. 'Danger' and 'Poison' were replaced with new songs. We want to know what;s going on?" the interviewer asked Taylor who had a smile on her face. "I've been listening back to the album and now that I listen to it I'm much happier with it than I'd been when I first put the track list together, which was about a month ago. My taste of a song changes with the months that go by and I just wasn't feeling those two songs." Taylor told the interviewer with politeness. "So this is your seventh studio album. Lucky number seven. What are your expectations?" Things got quiet as Taylor thought about what to answer. "I don't really want to have expectations other than making my fans happy. I worked on the record a few months and those months were grueling. I think my fans will be really happy with the record. Other than that I don't have any expectations."
The last question of the interview were a little pressuring for Taylor but she answered them like nothing anyway. "There's plenty of rumors that you're dating British actor Theo James? Are there any truths behind that at all?" Taylor looked at her and shook her head. "I can say that I am dating someone but it's not him. He unfortunately has a girlfriend and you know all these rumors about the fact that 'Loverboy' was about him is false. It was actually about the person I'm seeing now. I mean I can see why people would think that but we've only met once and we only talked once. These rumors are nonsense and just ruin people's relationships." Taylor went off a bit before she smiled and gave the interviewer a hug. Taylor then left the studio and went to get a laté at her apartment in Tribeca where many said she went to go see the man Taylor keeps speaking of.

Zedd performs on Rising Star

To promote his latest album Serenity as well as his tour and current singles “Slay” and “Temple” (featuring Lady Gaga), Zedd appeared on Rising Star to mentor the contestants. He also performed on the show with the contestants as well as one of the show’s panelists, Kesha. They performed four songs: “Clarity,” “Slay,” “Temple,” and “Not a Single Problem.” Zedd is hoping to push his album to the number one spot on the CAL Albums Chart this week, as well as increase the peak of and sell more of both “Slay” and “Temple.” A summary of the performance can be read below.
Zedd was behind the wall. The wall opened up, he walked out, and the wall closed again. Zedd walked out to the DJ deck on the side of the stage and got behind it. He started playing “Clarity.” Suddenly, we hear the contestants singing the first verse and chorus. This was followed by the breakdown, which transitioned into another breakdown, this time from “Slay.” “Slay” then transitioned into “Temple,” and the contestants started singing and dancing around the stage. They sang the second verse and chorus. Then, Zedd transitioned “Temple” into “Not a Single Problem,” and to the surprise of the audience, Kesha jumped on stage to perform! She hit every note perfectly, and she wowed the audience, and everyone at home! The performance was voted on by the two panelists as well as the audience at home, and it got a 100% rating!
Reviews of the performance were spectacular. Zedd was complimented on how well he transitioned between each song and the effects placed on the songs. The contestants were criticized a little for being pitchy and too loud. Kesha was loved by critics; they especially loved her stage chemistry, and her flawless vocal performance. Others criticized the performance for being too stiff and forced; they complained that the contestants were extremely pitchy and awkward, and that Kesha was shoehorned into the performance. However, most people disagree with all of this and found the performance amazing. It boosted the iTunes position of “Not a Single Problem” to the top 40, put “”Slay” at number 2, and strengthened the leads of Serenity and “Temple” at number one.
Zedd's new album Serenity and the singles "Slay" and "Temple" (feat. Lady Gaga) are now available on iTunes, Google Play, Amazon, various retail stores, and all Six Flags parks.

The remix collection has received positive reviews from critics, praising the different genres the new remixes bring the her album. One said, "Rita's ability to delve into multiple music styles within one collection and still keep the cohesiveness of a good record is baffling and that has earned her great respect from many music critics." When asked about what prompted this remix collection during a twitter Q&A , Rita responded, "When writing a song, I imagine more than one sound for the track and when I release an album, I can only include one of the many instrumentals I have imagined for the song.
