DJ Mustard is easily the best hip hop producer in a while. He has stomped all over Mike Will.

I wish he would show just an ounce of versatility but whatever, lol. As long as the bops keep coming. I think they played 10+ of his songs last night (many in a row).

His lack of versatility will cause him to dry up quickly. Just look at Stargate and practically every urban/crossover producer.

That's true, but Stargate have adapted their sound and kept/keep the hits coming for Rih.

Stargate had "What's My Name" and "Black & Yellow," but for the most part, they lacked the longevity of Timbaland & Pharrell. I mean, when was their last hit? "Black & Yellow"? I can't remember.

Come & Get It was huge last year, I heard it nonstop.

StarGate is one of my favorite pop producers. They can make a variety of good beats.

I've really grown to like Dr Luke more as well. I think he's really broadened his production capabilities in the past 2 years in particular.

The majority of their pop work is with Rihanna, but occasionally they work with other popstars.
