Another thing to consider is that comparing how a Hey Ladies video would be to a Poison or a Hello video is different because in 2009 Beyonce was a much better performer, had more control and more of an artistic vision than in the late 1990s. Obviously the videos aren't THAT great otherwise Beyonce would have released them, but as a fan, with nothing new for so long, isn't it fun to see these things? Even the original Halo video, while not great was fun to watch for the first time.

Haha I def want to see those videos but I'm saying better now than in 20 years. But really though, if the singer behind Sweet Dreams considers them unreleasable because they aren't that great, then....

It's totally there. Ultraviolence is a big overproduced fiasco with a lot of distortion/chamber reverb on Lana's voice.

I do see what was meant too. It's a lot more experimental than Beyonce has been doing with her vocals.

This song posted though is obviously referenced Crimson & Clover by Tommy James and the Shondells though. The title choice and the audio effect is so similar.
