That JLo/Gaga comparison doesn't make sense considering we're talking about current generation impact and the current generation have obviously bought way more Gaga albums and singles than JLo.
Since the current generation ain't buying anything by Madonna/Mariah, we can only go by other youthful sources like Youtube where Mariah has three times as many streams as Madonna and Mariah's old hits have way more streams than Madonna's forgotten 'classics'
New ones.
Most people are socially coerced into liking it.
