I guess I'm the odd one out with my opinion on The Purge Anarchy it seems. I enjoyed it but it definitely did not live to its hype as everyone made it to be. Being a huge fan of the first Purge too. I just wish they did more with the concept and the movie I felt it was just way too predictable for me for my likes.

i'm w you... its definitely not a horror movie. it reminds me of what the more recent Resident Evil movies have become. it felt cheap and unauthentic

Yeah definitely I know what you are saying. Also the whole "superhero" aspect was so cliche and the ending was just a complete bummer to me. Ugh I was really trying to get into it too.

Annabelle looks decent despite the conjuring being awful. Maybe it will pull a insidious 2 and be better than the first.

I just watched The House of the Devil. It's been on my list for a while but seeing it discussed here reminded me to watch it.

It was pretty good. Great suspense. It went by a lot faster than it felt even though not much happened for the first hour. I wish the climax was just a few minutes longer, but I really liked the ending.

I did NOT know that The Sacrament has been out for over 2 months (that's another Ti West film). I was really interested when the trailer first came out. Movies about cults are one of my weaknesses so I'm going to watch that asap.

Sis, go watch the sacrament!!! it was really suspenseful and really good I was really pleased by it.

BTW The Purge 2 was really good, not perfect but way better than the first one and it kept me on the edge.

it's been out in Thailand or some other country for a while now... Idk if they'll ever release it in the US. It looked bad, but I still want to see it.
