ARTPOP did "okay". The melodrama is so unnecessary.

What we're seeing with the pop girls latest releases is that success is largely based on perception, not reality. With the way people carry on, you'd think that BEYONCE, Prism and Bangerz were shifting millions effortlessly, whilst ARTPOP dragged its feet at the other end of the spectrum. Even to stan world it's surprising that there's only a few million between the top and bottom.

The good thing about this is that Gaga's success (and lack thereof) is based on perception...and perception can be altered. It's harder to alter reality - i.e. having another album sell TFM or BTW numbers.

Album 5 should be very interesting. I wonder if she'll take time off after the space performance or if she'll rush out an album to benefit the hype?

I'd like her to wait, maybe put out an EP (not Act Two) for space and the Grammys/Brits and then go on a prolonged break until the 5th album is ready. Not a blackout though, I'd like to see her doing things unlike 2012's media blackout where she wouldn't speak to any press.

Let's pray that we have an album that all songs are stripped down or toned down, 4 albums are enough for loud noises, let's lessen it next time Gaga! But I'm not wishing for boreFEST album tho. At least midtempos, RnB or slow songs

Uhh.. sooo.. was Gaga on Ellen? Because my friend just talked to me and said Gaga was on, like, yesterday and she said it was so emotional how she talked about her music and cried and I just don't remember anything about this over here?

I'm still pressed about Applause. The instrumental is perfection. I live for that bass! Also love the chorus. What has me pressed is the potential lost on the verses. I wish the song was about something completely different.
The quirkiness to the song should have remained her best Bowie impression.

I'm a huge supporter of DJWS but Gaga should let someone more experienced execute her album next go round, someone to tell her 'no, this is stupid' ( apparently Zedd did?? Interesting) or 'no one wants to hear this.' Well I don't know what the recording session was like but someone should help the good sis with her ideas and help her to bring out a song 's true potential

Everything on Applause is on point actually, don't change the theme, just change the lyrics on verses which are so hard to understand.
