Articles > graphics/songs/etc. at the end of the day, and it even says that articles are your main focus in the OP:
I love Luke. & his instrumentals and graphics, and I think Create a Label is a perfect way to let out your creativity when it comes to songs/graphics/etc. (that's what I use it for a lot of the time; I like creating these big eras even if they aren't successful), but if you want success, you actually need to promote more with your articles.
No tea no shade, that's just how the game is played.

That doesn't mean that all of my extremely hard work goes nowhere, iHype said to me after the first chart that it's not all about the length of the articles, it's about who worked harder. And to see all of my hard work ignored like that is ridiculous.
Yes, not everybody can produce original music or create graphics, but that doesn't mean that you should ignore my work, the work I did was way more than writing essays, I have a folder specifically made for this game and it's full of 100+ files that include articles, pictures, logic projects, psds, instrumentals and ideas and nobody realizes that.
I spent 14 days trying to produce the album, and it was paid dust.. It's somewhat disrespectful.
It's not all about the articles in my opinion, it's about creating an Artist, an Era. I've made Kylie's era come to life while others only wrote long articles.
If you could see the projects for the tracks I produced for the album, the amount of layers.. it's crazy.

I didn't 'ignore it'. It still got points; just not as much as people who paragraphs on paragraphs.
Making that cute video got lots of bonus, but at the end of the day, it's about writing articles, and so the people with huge articles got just as much.
And like I said, if you want a new idea implemented in the game go ahead and think of one. You guys want something new, but have yet to suggest.

TBFH, I get this too cuz like creating Natalia's tour...you have to see the folder. It took TIMEEE and energy and patience but then I enjoyed doing it cuz it was keeping me occupied. Buddy, if you're getting stressed by it then don't do so much or take breaks or something cuz the truth is they'll see it, give comments, and then move past it.
And besides Luke, we have ALL told you how great of a graphic artiste you are so don't feel so mad about it. At the end of the day, you just have to have a good time.

You see, that's the problem. I worked harder than the people who wrote essays but they still got more points..
I would suggest a new idea but I don't know the original formula plus I'm thinking of quitting this game.

I really did enjoy making that, it was fun playing this game and seeing what I made come to life, I always pictured the stuff I wanted artists to do in my head but in this game I shared it with everyone which was awesome!

Look at it this way: Small-time artists in real life can put out better music than so many bigger artists. Marina is one of my favorite artists of all time, along with Madonna, but 'Electra Heart' is amazing while 'MDNA' is a bad album. 'Electra Heart' reached #31 in the US and #1 in the UK, while 'MDNA' went #1 both places. 'Electra Heart' was not as successful as 'MDNA' despite being a better album. I'm sure Marina put hard work into 'Electra Heart'. And even look into the case of 'ARTPOP'. Sure, it's a fine album, but Gaga barely promoted it. It sold a surprisingly small amount for what people were expecting.
I know it sucks that you weren't as successful as you would have liked, but the game really is not about creating instrumentals and covers. I like to do it because I use Create a Label for that aspect of it, not the success side, though it doesn't hurt to have a successful single/album. If you want to be successful, you have to promote. You have to have more substance with your articles, not just make great instrumentals & visuals. You can't just have things look great, they have to have the articles, performances, touring, and so on to promote the album.
You said it's about work, and to an extent, that's true. It's just not true in the way you say it is. It's about the work you put into your articles, not your aesthetics.
I don't mean to come off as dragging you, because I think you're a really, really cool person and I love the instrumentals, covers, and so on that you've made. They've slayed me so much, and I really want you to continue with that. I just think you don't understand the real point of the game is to make success-worthy articles (yes, with paragraphs and all) rather than make all these aesthetic-based things. You're doing great work, but you need to put that work into typing rather than producing, and I'm sorry that it has to come out like that. Besides, everyone's been complimenting you on all of it. Everyone thinks you're doing great work.
Like I said, I really think you're cool and I like your work. I wish you wouldn't quit. If you want to be successful, though, promote.

Also, Luke., things might pay off with the VMAs here. Everyone has loved your work, so it's likely you'll win some awards at the show. You'll get your success there, since you have 5 nominations. Please don't be upset.

I'm still a host and tis won't count for any chart. I just get bored and wanna write some stuff and plan for CAL7 sometimes.
Hyped Music Records -- Eyeing Secret Artist
HM Records on the Secret Artist Signing:
In an elusive tell-all with Billboard's Business company, Hyped Music Records -- notably known for the best-selling artist Justin Bieber is looking to have a new top dog. "Justin is currently working on some projects; but he's slowing down. This isn't bad; he's had a career. More hits than every other artist, more than we count. But ofcourse, we can't continue the dependence. Despite being an Indie label, he was our major act that turned out big -- and we're looking to get a big new dog on our label." The label spoke to Billboard about the achievements they've already done, and what the new artist has a core and marketing for. "We're going to reveal the new artist signed with us soon, already a superstar, but tired of bad management -- we also plan to release immediately soon..." they continued.
"The artist has a mixtape they'd like to put out, you know, just to prep before the upcoming album. We're still debating whether to release a radio-single for it; but there will be a release soon".
HM on Top-Selling Artist, Justin Bieber:
"Currently, he's resting time with family -- but also working on plenty of movies. Including a little surprise movie that I'm sure fans will love, that includes other stars" they started. "He's done a little music, but he plans to start with an album next year -- and it will be interesting. He's done regular albums, Christmas albums, Soundtracks, Double Albums, etc so he does have something neat this time around. He's working on lots of small projects though -- rather than a full fledged studio album, especially one on the level of double-album 'Crossing Paths'."
HM on New Labels and Artists:
"When you reach a certain amount of success with your artists signed; there's no competition for survival. For our artists, they have competition ofcourse -- but for us, we still make our cash. I think the new labels that are doing so well with artists atop the charts now are neat, and we wish them the best of luck from our label. Some come, and some go -- the music industry feels more alive than every this season, so it's been nice to watch while we work with some of our indie artist. It's also nice to see some old labels still holding up fine ofcourse; best of luck too."

Exactly this! So, don't get so upset when you don't chart as well alright. Of course, it's a bummer but at the end of the day, we all recognize your work and no one can say you're not working hard cuz you sure as hell are.
At the end of the day though, this is CAL and CAL tradition is that the longer articles almost always get the higher charting points. It sucks for ppl like us who would much rather be visual and see things come to life, but that's what it is. You just have to do it to as you said, make it come to life before everybody's eyes.
Hang In There.

I get all of that now, I thought it was about creating eras, albums, artists etc and putting work into it, you know, creating a label.
I've just come to realize that's it's all about the article length, which is not my thing. I hate long articles and I hate making them. I make music and I love it a lot, but I've worked extra hard on tracks I did for the game to earn a higher position which is why I was stressed, on top of writing the long articles.
You're not coming off as dragging me, you're actually nice!
I'm really happy that I got 5 nominations for the videos I wrote and I wanna thank everyone who voted for me
