I think alot of songs I hear now deserve to be #1's because they make me get out of my seat and dance or they make me feel better when Im sad. If i want some 90's, Ill go back to the only real artist from that decade and that is Mrs. Lauryn Hill. And she is the ONLY ONLY ONLY REAL ARTIST FROM THE 90's. No doubt about it.
I can tell you now, alot of music from the 90's I hated because it was boring. Now, its fun and upbeat and crazy and great. 2008 is the best year of music ever since I was born.

The only logical answer is obviously it's changing. It's been nearly 20 years since the 90s, it's going to change. There are some people addicted with the music from back then, let them live in the past. Fans of music at any time will continue to grow with it as it grows. Simple as that.

i think its crap because I wasn't raised around that music and because of the music im surrounded by now. Im young and I like Young entertaining fun music. That music doesnt hit the spot for me
but its not like i have never heard it. My moms used to play 60's-80's music but played 90's more often. 90's-2008 is what i was raised mainly on. Ive heard the 60s-80's and it just wasnt for me.
BTW it's not like all the music from the '60s, '70s, '80s and '90s was depressing/inspirational music. It was just as fun as music is today, but higher quality. The melodies from back then are timeless but the annoying and repetitive beats of today will age quickly.
