That's a mistake though. If she surprise releases like someone else said earlier, it will flop. She has been out of the game too long and isn't high profile enough for a release like that. It needs promo and hype. I really hope they have a good marketing plan.

Exactly. Who takes 4 months to reveal something? She should had started the hype last month in mid June but again, nothing happened. Every week is the same ''something's coming this week, tomorrow, oh no, next week ''

Luis, this is frustrating me. I think the single could still do well if she has a great song but too much of the general public doesn't even know she is coming out with a new album. I read tweets all the time searching through her tag that are like, "Oh Hilary Duff might be releasing new music again" or "What happened to Hilary Duff's music career?". I think they have kept things SO secretive and under wraps that it is actually detrimental. The only press has been from Ed Sheeran, Charli XCX, and some sites talking about her bikini body.

Honestly? I'm feeling the same way. I fear that they'll release the single randomly and it won't do her any good. They should have started hyping it up already. Most of her haters and non-fans think no one is checking for her but they don't realize that there is simply no info out.

Like I said though it does suck, but we have to think of what she's feeling as well. I'm sure it's as much torture for her to not be able to update us, it seems like the label is making her stay hush :\

I mean it's not like we're mad at Hilary. It's just that this label could already be screwing her over if they fail to promote her correctly. And if it is RCA, they have a terrible reputation at doing just that. The only reason why it worked out for Miley was because of the VMA's and they still only gave her 3 singles, even after Wrecking Ball hit number one on the Hot 100.

actually I think she just went there for networking you know, collaborations come from events like that. you have to get to meet the other artists and talk to them as well as other industry insiders
as long as the news keep coming like this, I don't see any reason to be worried there's always enough place on the radio for all the gurls
