Some good performances, some good episodes but it's never great or even exciting. Corey Stoll in season 1 was the only stand out so far.

I'd classify OITNB as a dramedy and I haven't even watched it.

And dramadies should automatically go to the comedy column for competition-sake. They wouldn't win crap if they were put in drama categories.

Comedy doesn't have to be cheap though. If anything, the show is elevating the genre from the horrible place that it's in right now.

Just like how Shameless should be in the Comedy categories.

Yes, that's true. It says so much about good and evil in just one scene but it would have a hard time in the drama field. That's how it is

The problem I had with S2 of HoC was the whole cyber terrorist storyline. It didn't amount to anything and it wasn't nearly as sinister as it should've been.

They submitted OITNB in Drama category at the GG and they didn't get nominated.

Submitting it in the Comedy Category is the smartest thing they could have done.
