Zedd announces new partnership with Sennheiser
+

Zedd has announced a partnership with Sennheiser, a popular maker of audio equipment.
Sennheiser has been looking at breaking into the mainstream audio market for a while, but has been focused on providing audio equipment for professionals. While they have offered consumer headphones and even gaming headsets, they have not been widely known, and are not found in many retail stores. However, that will change this year, as the market for new professional audio equipment slows down enough to allow Sennheiser to make a big consumer push. They aim to eventually rival Beats, which is now owned by Apple. Zedd, being a well-known music producer, is the perfect face of the new campaign, as he knows what's up with sound quality.
Sennheiser had this to say about the partnership: "We believe Zedd is just beginning his musical journey; his new era is about to be one of the biggest ever in EDM history. To allow this to happen, Zedd has used Sennheiser audio equipment to produce his music. Sennheiser audio equipment is meant to have a neutral sound to it so everything is where it should be. Other headphone manufacturers turn the bass up really high on their headphones, resulting in a sub-par listening experience. Sennheiser headphones will allow the user to hear music the way it's meant to be heard, the way the artists originally make it."
Zedd said this about the partnership: "I am honored to be representing Sennheiser in their new campaign. When I first started producing music, it was just on my laptop with some cheap headphones. I then upgraded to more expensive, but equal in quality headphones. I was unhappy with them, so I decided to try Sennheiser headphones. I was blown away by the quality; it was like I had been living my whole life in a lie. I then upgraded all my equipment to Sennheiser equipment as soon as possible. Without Sennheiser's help, Serenity would not have sounded half as good as it does. Sennheiser's headphones really make a huge difference in a song. I recommend buying a pair as soon as possible!"
Zedd-branded HD8 DJ headphones will be arriving to music equipment stores across the nation on Friday. Various other headphones throughout their whole line will be available at retail stores across the US, including Zedd-branded HD 205s, RS 170s, and CX 215s, on Monday. More headphones and other audio equipment will become available at retail stores across the US throughout the next year.
"Temple" is the second single from Zedd's sophomore album Serenity.
Buy it now on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Mariah Carey on Power 106

Mariah Carey was revealed yesterday to be on the Big Boy's radio segment called "Breakfast With Mariah" on Power 106 for the whole morning. Carey posted on her Twitter a picture of herself with Big Boy's moments before getting on air. It will feature fan ask questions, the in depth of Mariah's mind and a quick question segment which makes Mariah have to answer a certain question in a limited amount of time.
Q: Where does your inspiration come from?
MC: "I've always loved music. Ever since I was little whatever negative stuff was going on I would just sing, make up songs, just do whatever it took to escape whatever was going on. It's kind of like music, I make it for myself to hear myself but more than that, at this point, I do it for the fans and for the people, like certain songs that might be really personal or whatever, I still put them on the album. I still put a spiritual song on every album just because you mix it in with the hot uptempos and all the other stuff but it's important at this point for me to give a message to inspire other people because there's a lot of people that don't realize that if they're going through a tough time or anything that they can make through it if they keep faith and believe in God and just focus on themselves. So I basically get my inspiration from there."
Q: Does it concern you how fast-paced the music business is?
MC: "My approach has always been fast-paced because I think, I'm not trying to take credit or anything, it wasn't even really my plan 'cause I didn't know what I was doing 'cause I was very young when I started putting records out so it was like, 'Make another one, make another one' in a way that was the record company being selfish and me being ignorant to like the game and not going on tour and making the money that people make. This is not a whoo-it's-me. I didn't make my touring money in 1901 [laughs]. We're clearly joking but the point is 'cause back in the day when I first started I didn't know much so I actually became fast-paced from the beginning, and did a record every single year without stopping so I feel like the fast-paced-ness of this isn't what I'm concerned about. It's more like the whole... where the industry was so stupid to allow itself to get sucked up by the internet which is, for the regular people, when I say regular people, people who are not of the industry 'cause I'm in the industry but not of it. What I'm saying is the industry is different for the record companies really and the artists get a little bit screwed by the way things are but it's faster that people get music. It is what it is.
__________________________________________________ ___________________________________________
My Mariah Moment (Fans ask questions)
Amanda: I have been a big fan of yours for fourteen years and you've been my inspiration and I want to know who's been yours?
MC: "I have to say that people who tell me stuff like that, they inspire me. You inspire me to keep doing what I'm doing, honestly, because I really do put everything into my music. I have to say Stevie Wonder is just incredible and when you meet him it's like he never lets you down. Everytime I meet him, I'm just like, 'Wow, this is the man that created some of the best music ever' and he's still just so amazingly cool and nice - he's just a beautiful spirit. I have to go with him. Aretha Franklin and Patti LaBelle."
Crystal: If you could describe your perfect night in for us?
MC: "Yay for the night in first of all 'cause they rarely happen and then sometimes I have to have the nights in that are really bleak. You know, watch a nice movie, have a nice conversation with somebody. What else? [Liz: 'Splash of wine.'] Splash of wine would be okay, perhaps two, maybe three [laughs]."
Rita: Of all the songs you've recorded, which one is your absolute favorite?
"That's difficult because like when I'm in this process I feel like I just put this record out, obviously, right today, album in stores. That's "The Stygian Chevalier" so I'm still like in that zone like when I'm in the creative moment, like I kind of get obsessed with what I'm doing. I listen to that constantly. As a songwriter it's hard to say what my favorite song is. There's a song called 'Underneath The Stars' that I always reference from the Daydream album. See Rita that's how I know that you know my music but the record company at that time they didn't understand that that was a good song. Even Brat was like, 'You got to put this song out. Please let her have this song come out' they were just like, 'No, we don't like it. It's too urban'."
During DJ E-man's regular "Mickey-Fickey" Mix at 8:30am, Mariah requested the DJ Clue Dark Remix of 'Libidinous Dream.'
"We got the new remix that DJ Clue did on his own. We didn't plan it. He just heard the song when it went to number ten. I heard it. He didn't have the instrumental, he didn't have the a capella. [Liz: 'What was your first reaction when you first heard it? He killed it.'] Yes! I had to be like, 'Can we put this out please?'"
Q: What is that one song that when you hear it, you say, 'I really knocked it out the park'?
MC: "You know what's funny, a lot of the stuff I'm like, 'Get it out of here' but then there'll be like a moment when I'm like, 'This was a classic' and I was very excited to have done it like 'Fantasy' with ODB. When they play in the club, I'm still excited. I still feel like that was one of the best things that I ever did because that was the real me being able to be like heard at that point in my life. May he rest in peace. It was just a good collabo. It was unexpected and I have so good memories 'cause back then the only fun I had was making music and videos, everything else was bleakosity."

Britney Spears Performs At The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
Britney Spears performed at the 2014 Victoria's Secret fashion show with this outfit on.
The performance started with the backdrop of the VS show turning to a flashing red warning sign as red laser beams were shot around the stage. Spears came down from the ceiling on a cable in the sexy lingerie as Gimme Your Best began to play and fire shot out of the stage. A swat team came onto the runway as Spears landed down, they all attempted to grab her but she quickly threw several of them off the runway. Spears strut down the runway to the first chorus of Gimme Your Best as the swat men followed her, once Britney reached the end she shouted into the mic "where my ladies at?" and suddenly 10 of the hottest VS angels came to the stage to help Britney "deal" with the swat men, they came to the stage in hot special agent lingerie outfits with pink pillows. They gave a pillow to Britney as all the girls began pushing the guys off the runway and then commenced to have a hot pillow fight to the second chorus of Gimme Your Best. Britney and the girls then danced on stage as smoke surrounded it, the VS girls all learned a technical dance break for the performance as they were all in synch with Britney. As the performance came to a close, Spears kissed Candice Swanepoel and Adriana Lima and the crowd shouted, the girls walked off the runway as Spears re-attached herself to the cable and left the same way she came in.
-------
The night was not over for Spears as she came back out to the stage to close the show. Britney was wearing her nude toxic crystal outfit as she gave an up-beat performance of her classic hit Toxic. Red laser beams shot around the stage as Spears did back handsprings and splits to avoid them. Britney did the classic toxic choreo by herself on stage for the first chorus of Toxic. The VS angels then came out for the encore as Spears walked down the runway with them while Toxic played. She blew the crowd kisses as confetti came down on all the girls. Britney walked off the runway with the girls as a huge poster of Britney's "American Dream" album cover came down from the ceiling with the date "July 13th" written on top of the cover.
-------
#BritneyIsVictoriasHottestAngel trended in America throughout the entire VS show and everyone watching enjoyed Spears' performance of Gimme Your Best & Toxic, #BritneyKissesCandiceAndAdriana trended at the end of the Gimme Your Best performance as fans went wild over the lesbian makeout.

Britney Spears Surprise Uploads Gimme Your Best Remix Video
At midnight Britney Spears uploaded a video for the Gimme Your Best (Bad Girl Mix) ft. Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan onto her VEVO account.
The video was mostly recorded by Spears herself and starts out with Britney, Paris, and Lindsay all sitting on a pink bed with sexy lingerie on. They move their breasts closely to the camera and all whisper "I like a bad girl" as the video takes a picture of the frame and the text "BAD BITCH ENTERPRISE" appears on the frame which lasts for a few seconds. It then goes back to video as the Gimme Your Best (Bad Girl Mix) plays, they move the macbook camera to show them walk and dance around Britney's pink bedroom in their lingerie. They then all grab clothes from Britney's closet and throw clothes on the bed picking outfits and stumbling down, they appear to be heavily intoxicated. They all change fully naked in front of the camera as the video is censored to cover their private areas, they don't seem to put on any underwear or bras. Britney then approaches the macbook and shuts it, the video goes black for two seconds but continues with Britney using her HD camera as the girls walk down her huge stairs and out of the front door.
The girls all walk out of Spears mansion and onto her driveway with Lindsay now holding the HD camera. It is very dark outside and barely anything is visible but you can see the girls get into a car. The girls turn on the lights in the car while Lindsay sets the camera down on the car and Paris begins to drive.
They begin singing over the Bad Girl Mix as they take shots of tequila wrapping their hands around each other as they take the shots. Paris doesn't drink but they play around with her hands on the wheel when suddenly Brit shouts "Paris watch out!", Paris quickly swerves the car as it spins 360 degrees and comes to a complete stop, the song stops playing. The girls are shocked and breathless for a few seconds but then all laugh in unison as Paris turns the radio on and blasts the Gimme Your Best (Bad Girl Mix). Paris then continues driving as the girls sing to the Bad Girl Mix while drinking more shots.
They finally arrive to the club and Britney gets out of the car and with her bare (carefully censored) ***** hanging out as the girls all laugh and continue their walk into the club with Paris now holding the camera. Britney takes hold of the camera next while dancing in the club with her shaky hand focused on Paris' boobs. She then zooms out and the frame shows Lindsay and Paris making out and drinking shots off of each others boobs. Paris then holds the camera as if she were taking a selfie and shows all the girls dancing and touching each other as the club plays the Bad Girl Mix of Gimme Your Best. Paris then sets the camera down on a table as all the girls start dancing on stripper poles on stage and hanging off in weird and flexible ways. Paris and Lindsay then grab a couple of guys and pull them on the stage and start making out with them, Britney goes into a full split and grabs a shot on the ground of the stage with her mouth, chugging it before getting back up.The girls then get off the stage and grab the camera, they begin to walk out of the club.
As they walk out of the club, the video takes the point of view of a paparazzo taking pictures of the girls leaving the club, white camera flashes are constantly seen as several paps are taking pics of the bad girls.

The girls then got in the paps face and pushed his camera to the ground an and pushed him down which gave the video a weird angle for about 10 seconds while the Gimme Your Best music was paused and the natural sounds of Britney Paris and Lindsay laughing are heard as well as the sound of their heels moving on the pavement. Lindsay then picked up the camera and the Bad Girl Mix continued playing with Paris hugging Britney and singing into the camera as they laughed and walked back to the car. Paris quickly drives off as the last frame of the video is taken from the sidewalk facing the car which quickly leaves the frame. Bold pink text then comes onto the screen which reads "Bad Girls Do It Better" which remains for a few seconds before the video fades to black.
The video received a massive amount of views and was pushed to the main page of YouTube almost instantaneously, becoming a viral sensation.

Spears personally cut, shot, and edited most of the video. The video received several worldwide trends #BritneyParisLindsay #BadGirls #GimmeYourBestBadGirlMix #BadGirlMixVideo #BritneySurpriseVideo #BritneyBadBitch, surprisingly the #BritneySurpriseVideo was a promoted trend.
TMZ & WorldStarHipHop are promoting the video and both sites claim to have the full uncut and uncensored footage from Spears' computer although Paris and Lindsay took to twitter to deny these claims, acknowledging the video for the first time.
Britney took to twitter to let fans know that the full uncut CENSORED footage was added onto the iTunes Gimme Your Best Remixes EP.

Beyonce Covers Cosmopolitan Magazine

At 32 Years Old, Beyonce is one of the most successful women in the world. She has 5 solo albums not counting her latest effort with Jay-Z & Kanye West 'Count The Kills'. People around the world adore her she's just the perfect person to cover this month's cover.
'Count the Kills' is just another succes musically, critics have been praising you since the beginning of your career, do you feel flattered or you don't listen to critics usually?
Well I obviously feel flattered But i don't people should base their views about one's music only because of the critics.
Rumors say that you've been back in the studio, can you confirm this? working on anything new?
I've been working some new things, but it's really not complete at all.
There have been rumors you are unhappy with your label, Variety Records, can you clear this up?
Well Variety Records is a great label, but we both have different opinions about how we should promote the album and things like that. They gave us the freedom to do whatever we want with our music but then they want us to promote the album differently and we aren't really agreeing. We don't want to ruin the friendship we have with the CEO of the label so we decided together that we'd stop the promotion of the album by next week.
You filmed this 30 minutes film 'Count The Kills' to support the album release, when did you and your entourage get the idea for it?
Well I always wanted to have my own Mini-film. I had done something similar with BEYONCE's music video for each song, but here it's really a mini-film with a certain sequence of actions and all. So basically I had the idea of doing something like this since the beginning of my career. I funded the short-film with the money I made form the Delta Airlines Endorsement.
What's Your greatest reward?
Having to relax with Blue. Looking at her beautiful face after a long day of work will always be my best reward.
Are you interested in anyone's work in the industry right now?
My Label mate Charli XCX! She really is something. But Azealia Banks has one wonderful record and the 'Paradiso' music video is amazing. I also love Taylor Swift's new tour and Britney Spears' single. All those are woman. I love how we are now the best in this industry.
Any future projects?
For now, not really. I'm just relaxing after the intensive recording sessions of 'Count the Kills'. I keep on recording a little bit but that's it I don't force myself right now.

Beyonce on the Tonight Show

Beyonce had a small promotional appearance on The Tonight show starring Jimmy Fallon. Wearing a Valentino Couture blue and gold dress with Alexander McQueen heels, she sat down for an interview with Jimmy Fallon as part of the promotion for her single 'Enraged' which also features Kanye West & Rihanna. After a brief interview where Beyonce showed how sexy she could be and seduced Jimmy Fallon, Beyonce got up on stage and performed a modified version of 'Enraged'.
She walked up to a microphone stand while the lights in the background changed slightly colors but remained pale. Three female dancers were in the background and doing a slow sensual dance to the music. The performance was kept simple and Beyonce sang with her amazing Power vocals.
'Enraged' climbed a few positions on ITunes after this performance and Radios started playing it again.

Mariah leaks "Libidinous Dream" (DJ Clue Dark Remix) Video

Earlier this morning, Mariah Carey tweeted that something will be coming soon and fans will be in for a nice surprise. That tweet got deleted a few hours later which made people speculate on a possible remix video. Later, Mariah Carey uploaded a video for the "Libidinous Dream" (DJ Clue Dark Remix) on her own personal YouTube account and tweeted the link to the video saying that this is an unreleased remix video that was planned to be uploaded last week but due to some unforeseen circumstances, the video could not be uploaded. So she decided to take it in her own hands by uploading the remix video.
The video starts off with Mariah in a dark abandoned mansion, wearing a black lingerie with swarovski diamonds all over and a pair of black stilettos to compliment the lingerie as she explores the mansion. The sound of a faint heartbeat and her breathing is heard for 45 seconds before the remix intro kicks in. The camera switches to another scene where she is seen wearing a beige coloured bikini as she comes out from a swimming pool slowly as she sang the first verse. The camera switches back to the original scene where Mariah is seen tied up on a chair and a man is seen lighting a cigar in the background. The song pauses as the man and her talked.
Man: Do you know that you're trespassing in to a private area ?
MC: Yes I know.
Man: Then why are you in here ??
MC: I'm looking for my boyfriend, you stupid old hag !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Man: Do you know......
Before the man could finish his words, Mariah came lunging on him using her legs through some acrobatic moves to knock him unconscious as the song came back on. The camera switches the scene back to the pool scene where Mariah is seen dancing with a few other dancers by the pool as the second verse kicks in. The camera then switches to another scene where she was seen freeing other hostages found the dark mansion and she found out that the abandoned mansion was filled with the activity of human trafficking when she went to the main office on the second floor to steal some documents. As she was leaving, guards and some other people ran towards her, trying to catch her. But Mariah did an intricate acrobatic dance to avoid the attack and defeated those huge and scary looking men. The camera switches to another scene, where Mariah was seen trying to unlock a huge door to find something. When the door was unlocked, it is revealed that Mariah's "boyfriend" was actually trapped in the room as she ran towards him, untying him. As she hugged him, a gunshot was heard and it was revealed that Mariah was shot to the chest by her "boyfriend". The "boyfriend" was actually behind the whole human trafficking incident. The camera switches back to the pool scene where Mariah was seen lying down alone in despair, crying out as she sang the bridge and the last chorus. The camera goes back to the room where Mariah is seen having blood trickling out her mouth, seemingly dead. The video then goes black with the sound of faint heartbeats and Mariah's breathing as the words "Another video will be coming soon. Buy "Libidinous Dream" and "The Stygian Chevalier" on iTunes now.
The video received some backlash for the mature content and it is deemed to dark by some critics because it features Mariah dying and the revelation of the human trafficking. Some fans made a stand to boycott Mariah for the mature content found in the remix video. "Mariah is getting out of hand !!! The mature content are totally not for people like the kids and me !!", said a fan. Despite all the negative backlash it has received, it has also gotten positive attention from the media because the video touches on the theme of trust. "Mariah's newest video has teaches us new things like not to trust anyone easily. She dies in the end because she trusted her boyfriend too much." a reporter from MTV said his views. The video had also received 10 million views so far after being uploaded on Mariah's personal YouTube account.
"Camouflage" Records released a statement that the remix video version will be included in the iTunes version of "Libidinous Dream" Remix EP.
Buy "Libidinous Dream" and "The Stygian Chevalier" on iTunes now.

Xtina appears on Ellen
Earlier this morning, Christina Aguilera visited the Ellen Studios once again to meet up with her good ol' friend Miss DeGeneres. She sat down to have a quick lil chat and shared with us some details about what it was like working with notorious female rapper Azealia Banks, how she feels about the endurance of motherhood, what direction of sound and imagery in which her upcoming 8th studio album - "Pandora's Box" - is going to take, and (of course) her tantalising collaborative reggae treat of "Spitfire" featuring Azealia Banks. It took quite some while for Aguilera to eventually start working with Azealia on this musical project, however, we're damn sure that is has gone down a storm. "Spitfire" has already occupied our audience commercial break playlist, thus far!
Later on, Christina performed for us a rendition of her second single "Spitfire" which features up-and-coming female rapper who has garnered much attention over these past couple of months. The track had been produced by world-renowned Hip Hop beatmaker DJ Premier, penned by Swedish musical mastermind Avicii, and tweaked by the blazen Diplo. In the meanwhile, Azealia spits her rhymes on a twisted reggae bite while Aguilera riffs her way through the song's fierce melodic grooves. Christina was met with a roaring crimson reception from the audience and, even though Azealia was only there through playback, "Spitfire" still went down like an absolute treat.
In other Xtina news, it has been alleged and reported by a handful of credible sources that the health scare Aguilera had earlier on in the week was caused by somebody externally. According to a bunch of theoretical conspiracy enthusiasts and professional, this seems as though it resembles a modern-day Cluedo scenario. It has been said that the Xtina killer who's responsible for abusing the 'Beautiful' singer (through medical means) is on the prowling loose and legal action is waiting to be taken. We pray that Christina shall attain her health throughout the busy upcoming months. Especially, taking into consideration, that she gave birth to her daughter [Olivia Aguielra-Rutler] just a few weeks ago.
Aguilera's lead single "Spitfire" f/ Azealia Banks is now available for purchase.

Mariah Carey on WMAs

After multiple delays, the World Music Awards stated in a press conference that it will be airing soon on NBC channel. Mariah Carey was chosen as the opener of the award show and will be receiving a Legend Award and a Pop Icon Award from the show too. It was said that Mariah actually wanted to premier "Libidinous Dream" there by performing it, but due to the delays, plans were changed. One of the hastag #MCWMAs was trending on twitter for 24 hours before the award show even had aired. Insiders leaked that the performance Mariah gave was explosive and people will be very pleased to see Mariah do her thing; Sing.
For the performance, Mariah wore a beautiful late 70s-inspired dress with a pair of shiny black stilettos. She starts out by doing an impromtu whistle runs and some belting as the intro of "Libidinous Dream" kick in. Dancers came out from everywhere as she appears from a cocoon -like box which made the crowd go wild. Also the disco-trap song have obviously captivated the audience as they were seemingly in a trance while the performance was on. As the verse starts to transition into the chorus, she yelled, "This is "Libidinous Dream" dahhling !!!". She danced the the iconic "X" dance which was also done on the BET Awards recently.
As the second chorus came, one of the dancers tried to make Mariah fall by placing a leg near her. Mariah fell down, but she managed to regain her composure quickly by pretending she was dancing as the other dancers hold her up. She managed to take revenge on the dancer that made her fall down by "accidently" hitting the mic on the dancer's face. The dancer was seen with her nose bleeding as she continued dancing. She ended the chorus by singing "Hey dancer over there, you're fired" as fireworks start shooting out from nowhere. She posed saying "My new single and album(the audio is edited in) is on iTunes now !!!!"
After the performance, Mariah went backstage to have a change of clothes for the award receiving ceremony. "Thank you all the fans who have stuck with me all these years. Through my hard times and my glorious times, you have never leave me, so I am dedicating this two awards to the fans. Without the fans, I wouldn't have succeeded in music and I wouldn't be standing up here right now. Thaaaaaaaaaaaaaakkkkkkkkkkkkk Yooooooooouuuuuuuuuu !!!!!!!", Mariah said as the audience started cheering and screaming loudly.
