Cyndi found success in other venues and sort of a had a renewal this past year. There's nothing wrong with that.. though I do wonder why she faded almost into obscurity. It kinda seemed like she didn't try after a certain point.
Cyndi did deserve more success though seeing as how she is far more talented than Madonna. But she made a career of her own even after she wasn't a major popstar anymore beginning in the 90's.
Did ya'll realize that Cyndi was doing stadiums in the 90's? Yes, it is true. It's incredible how powerful her first two records made her.
So many parallels to Gaga.
Clearly she is quite happy. The Oscars tend to be more welcoming on this front - as long as you play nice (otherwise Madonna would have been nominated for her performance in Evita). I could see it happening.
