I'd disagree. Literally EVERYONE is familiar with Girls. That's not the case for Madonna's songs. Slobro, Oshiish and the gang may say like a LOT of dumb things, but they aren't wrong when they say the younger generation isn't really familiar with her music.

Kids are more likely to hear a song like "Girls... Just wanna have fuuuuun"
than "Like a VIRGINNNNN.. Never been touched BEE FOUR"
I think a lot of the younger generation knowing GJWHF is because Miley Cyrus covered it back when she was still kinda Hannah Montana and she had that MASSIVE following. The Problem is that people don't know who sang GJWHF.

Cyndi did deserve more success though seeing as how she is far more talented than Madonna. But she made a career of her own even after she wasn't a major popstar anymore beginning in the 90's.
