How? I'm level 9 and on the A List. You don't have to buy anything they give free stars if you watch a few videos. And energy is easy to find around the cities. Make sure you ***** yourself around and buy new clothes and you're flying up the list.

Actually I'm almost to level 9 - just checked. I do the free video thing every now and then and know about the hidden rewards, but I guess I just don't buy things much or go on dates. Everything I want needs 30+ stars and I always feel like jobs > dates when it comes to energy.

Here's what I do take jobs that are 3 hours or less. They cost much less energy. Buy clothes with the star. They help with jobs so you use less energy. It's really important you buy clothes, they add a boost so you use less energy. I managed to do a photo shoot and a date with 3 energy to spare. So I was constantly getting fans.
