Right. Taylor, didn't have much going on during that timeframe. Miley got a lot of press from that VMA performance and Beyoncé from that Solange/Jay-Z elevator fight/surprise album release. I don't know how Bruno ranks higher than Taylor but it must the Super bowl performance (I didn't read how/why they were ranked). Rihanna, gets press from wearing no clothes.
The list was put together by who got more media attention or income (as the case for Steven Speilberg) . Allegedly, some not all celebrity publicist pay to be on the list. One year, Jon Bon Jovi or his PR wrote a letter to Forbes as to why he wasn't listed. He's been on the list every year since. Seems he was p***ed.
You want to make the list just because it proves you're very successful. Taylor ranking in the top 20 is very commendable and ranking for the 5th time at only 24 years.
