Thats easy to say but doesnt happen much for pop artists. Artists liek Britney who rely on pop radio only get huge support with the first single.
I hate Jay-Z at the moment. There was a lot of pressure for Britney to finally be "#1" again. I hate how much difference it makes not to debut #1. I hate how the media claim an artist has flopped automatically if they dont debut #1.
Even if it had big sales some people would claim it flopped if it went to #2.
